This is Lighthouse research.  They pay people to participate in surveys and radio research.  I've done it a couple of times, they pay about $60 for about 3 hours worth of work.  You just listen to music and rate how much you like the song.  Pretty easy money.  It's how radio stations decide which songs to play on their station.

Looks to me like they're guns for hire. Perhaps there was a positive experience, but it looks like just another telemarketer burning up time as life passes them by.
Mike may have been invited as part of a local audience that was called to attend a focus group.
That does not explain any of the other calls.

I got a call from them about how I was satisfied with the car we just purchased.  They didnt try to sell us anything or scam us.  Just wanted some feed back for the dealership that we bought the car from.

Claimed they were from Michael's Craft Store and that they were calling Michael's customers.  Wanting to pay me $75 for something, but didn't give them the chance to say what.  Asked if I could be removed from their list.  He agreed and was very polite.

I received 7 calls this afternoon without messages and voice messages.

They called and were very nice, they just wanted to know how I like the new car we purchased.

Got 2 calls from this number.  They never left a message.

Called and worked with them to do a survey on website searching for some company.  Received $100 for it.  Don't think they are (typically, at least in my case) typical telemarketers so it may be worth finding out what they're after in other cases.  I enjoyed the time doing the survey for them and the money didn't hurt either.

After receiving first call (Which I did not answer)  I checked out the posts on this site.  I decided to call them ,myself and check them out.  The polite young woman at this organization explained that they do several different research studies every week so she wasn't sure which study they had been contacting me about but gave me some possibilities.  We chatted for awhile.  They are paid by many companies you would recognize to do market research.  Armed with that information I was satisfied that they are a legit company and hoped they would call again so  I too might receive some pocket money for my time.  Yesterday, they did call again and I answered; I think it was the same woman.  Asked me about a topic that I was familiar enough with to see if I might participate.  They would pay me $25.00 for my time--about 15 minutes--that works out to $100/hr.  Pretty good money.  I answered a series of questions regarding the frequency of choosing this particular type of product, brand names, and other pertinent questions.  She was very pleasant and helpful when I didn't understand the question.  At the end she asked me if I would like to continue to be a participant for the future.  I said certainly.  When I don't have to leave home to make some money that works for me!

I picked up and person asked "Hello, can I speak to the sales manager."

Me: "Nope"

becareful theres also a scam going on thats someone is using this services name and address to scam individuals for more than a year now.

Got a sleazy push poll (google it if you don't know) from the Mia Love campaign.  Nothing makes me run for the opposition faster than this scumball tactic.

they called wanting me to participate in a focus group about UTA and public transportation in SLC. Legit company. They paid me 75.00 to discuss the transportation in SLC. Fed me as well. Several easy and pleasant hours. I would do it again. Easy holiday money! :-)

They asked me if I wanted to take a survey based on my driving experience. I told them I don't drive, and they were very polite and said they might have a wrong number.
