- Avoid them.| 1 reply801-618-2002 Is Leubke Baker & Assoc. they are a scam company that will call you up and claim you owe money for back subscriptions or other erroneous items that you actually did not purchase. Simply answer the line, tell them you are aware of their scam, it's all over the internet and you will report them if they continue to call you.

- Sallie replies to Avoid them. You are exactly right. This is a scam. They also claim that they have you on tape saying yes. I called them out on it and they hung up on me. I have already turned them over to the FTC and FBB. These guys are going to get it. I have friends in high places. That's for leaving your message.
- MelI was called about 8:30 am this morning. I didn't answer it because I've been receiving weird calls lately from companies that I don't know. I looked it up and found this info. Thnaks for putting it out there. Its good to know.
- jamrecvd call this morning from this # and went through exactly what is described above. i heard loud music and loud conversation in the background during the entire call - sounded a like he (Ken Williams) was calling from a night club. they attempted to collect $667.20 for magazine subscriptions from 1997! The collector commented "That's a lot for magazines." Magazines we never ordered and have never seen the covers of. When asked how they obtained our phone #, they stated it was through skip-tracing methods.

- ValleyThey just called me and told me that I owed on some magazines from back in 1998. Well that is so funny for the address that they gave me was wrong and my name was wrong so I told them off and came here to see how many others are out there scaming people with this. WOW is all I have to say.

- EMBThis is the first time I have gotten a call from this number. The girl who called , Cara, said that she was a friend of mine and she would call back. Whenever I don't recognise the number I don't let people know it's me. I think next time I will answer the phone in Japanese. Very annoy. If it's really the magazine thing, then they have been trying to get me to pay on this scam for over a year and call from different numbers each time. Very annoying!!

- AliWestI got a call from this number this afternoon on my cell. I did not answer it and they left no message. I'm glad I found this site. I will not answer if that number pops up on my caller id again.
- miatchAfter not answering it goes to the voice mail where they do not leave a message. The few times I have answered it it just is just empty noise and a quick hang up. I have started calling them back and doing the same :P

- john doeCaller calls everyday. I have never answered. how do I get them to stop calling me?
- olivegreen17| 1 replyMy husband recieved a phone call from them today. They claimed he owed $261.00 on a Publishers Clearing House magazine from 2001. The only magazines he's ever been subscribed to are Playboy and Maxim. Huge scam. Sad thing is...we're both on the National No Call Registry and yet they still keep calling. My husband called them out on it today. Told them he contacted his lawyer, the police, and reported them to the NNCR....all the guy did was laugh and say "whatever". DON'T FALL FOR THIS CRAP!

- AmosYeah they call me every once and a while. They claimed my wife, under her married name owed for magazines from years ago which was years before i even knew her. So after conveniently getting hung up on numerous times, cause oh yea i called them back. See the thing is we filed bankruptcy and had a complete list of debtors and they were not there. I gave them my attorney's number and that was the last i heard of them for months till tonight now that i remember this number i will answer it.

- ChuckI just had a call from them. The thing is that I did have a subscription from a magazine company that I had canceled. They told be I owed them $267 from this company. I told them that I have not recieved anything from the company in 8 years and I would like an invoice in writing before I pay anything. The man asked if I was refusing to pay the amount. I told him "No, I'm not refusing to pay the money to whom it is owed, but I don't know who he is and I haven't recieved anything from the company in 8 years." He said that I'm breaking the law, and I owe the money, and he was getting angry. I don't remember ever hearing a collection agent get mad when you ask for a paper copy. So I gave him a hard time. He said he'd send me a copy and he hung up on me. The was alot of other information that didn't work. New phone number, but they didn't have the address that the phone number was at, he thought I lived the same place I lived 8 years ago. He said it would go back to the company and they'd demand the full amount, not the settlement, and he got mad when I said "good, at least I know who I'm paying." Just didn't seem right. My wife told me they've called before and said that they would send a paper copy several times. Still haven't seen anything.

- DUH BLONDEWe just received ANOTHER call from these bogus people tonight. Upon my answering the phone there was dead air. I called it back per the number on my caller ID, and was immediately engaged in an argument with the fool that answered the phone. He vaguely identified himself and the company he was calling from. I tried to ask why he was calling and stated that you are calling every night. He then asked me for my Phone Nuumber. I refused to give it to him asking what it was regarding. He would not tell me and eventually became frustrated and hung up on us. SCAM... We called back as to why we were hung up on and were met with combative attitudes and were hung up on 3 more occasions.

- lisaI just recieved the same call. I had looked a previous number they were calling me from. No one would say anything and then hang up. So I called them back and gave them the phone number they called and simply told them they had the wrong number. He aplogized and said he would remove my number. I hope this works...
- sheeshWow, I just got one of these calls, but there was nothing by silenece.
This sucks, because I work for a company in Utah, and was worried someone was trying to reach me for a business matter - why exactly is this number still in service?

- annoyedThese people call me about 5 times a week and never let the phone ring more than twice before they hang up. I never get a chance to answer it and tell them to quit calling!!!
- Scam Hunter CompanyThe reason we are seeing all these crazy SOB scam companies I believe are because of one [***] women that started a scam company called Sierra Debt Recovery. It is MLM home type of business. Check it out. They need to be brought down and a stop put to them. They prey on out of date and written off junk debts.
