The call I received was a robo call about serious allegations made on my by the police.  Did you get something similar??

This is someone who said that a serious allegation has been made by me and the police need to speak to me. This is a huge scam and do not give any information or even speak to them.

Left a voicemail to call. They said they were with the Social Security office.  I hung up.

They left a voicemail to call this number, saying they were an "officer".  I called the number back and they answer that they are the SSA, but want your SS#.

I received a call stated that I need to send $250.00 to get a new social security card

IGNORE - just a CROOK calling.  Go online at www.ssa.gov & apply for FREE if you need a replacement (or a new card).

They say the are social security..ask for social security number and threatenes if I dont comply they will have me arrested.

Received a call stating I need to call this number stating serious matter and to call this number to clear up or a warrant will be put out for my arrest. DO Not Call. Total scam.

They left a voice mail that said something about social security and I could go on line and pay or call the 8-3 number and verify the last 4 of my ss number...if he didn't hear back from me he would have to have warrant for my arrest issued.  I didn't call.

They had someone call me from a 515 area code impersonating a detective JONES. And the so claim husband texting me from 803-847-0824 trying to extort me out of money. Dude stated his daughter have pornography in her phone from my # and demanded I pay to have his daughter phone deactivated and for her some counseling and if I don’t pay it he will go to the police. A complete damn scam artist ...
