this unknown number keep calling

Number has called me twice the area code is from Richmond Virginia I don't know anyone there.

called 9/21/09 at 5:21pm. do not know anyone in this area code.

The number is from the Varina VA (near Richmond) and appears to be connected to telemarketing services with/through Cox.com.

Missed call on caller ID Friday 11/6/09 at 516pm. Did not leave message. Thank goodness for caller ID.

Calls every other evening around 8:30 - 9:00.  Leaves no message.

I guess is from a car dealer!

keep getting calls, from this number. I don't answer since it's not a number I recognize. Whoever/whatever it is,they never leave a message. I called it back, a message comes on saying it's "Merritt Research"

I received 3 calls from this # in two days in the evening.  I called it back, they said, "Merritt Research, not a telemarketer, and to call 18008648601 if I wanted to be placed on their no-call list".  They claimed to be legal because they are a market research company.  It's still harassment no matter how ya mask it!

3 calls in as many days, all at different hours of the day.  I never picked it up since I do naot take calls from numbers I don't recognize.  No messages were left.

I have been receiving calls from this number for the last week.  I have called the 800 number they give to be put on their "do not call list" but think that was a mistake.    The message left is that they are a research group not telemarketers, but as far as I'm concerned they are telemarketers because they are calling after I requested them not to.

I just purchased a car & called asking to rate my purchasing experience with dealership.

I just bought a new mazda. They called to rate my experience with the sales guy. The sales guy did give me a heads up about this service. So yea no worries.

Good to know what this is. I also have a Mazda, so I'm going to just assume the call I didn't answer had to do with my recent service. Thx!

Same here, bought a Mazda not long ago and just got this call, didn't pick up as well because it was unrecognized.  Seems to be related to the Mazda customer service survey thing.

I also have a Mazda.  It was just in for service.  This is probably a follow up survey.

I just bought a mazda saturday and received a call on tuesday & thursday from this #.  wish they would have left a message explaining the reason for the call. glad i found this website.
