I had a call from this number, but never left a message.

Returned the call but got fast busy

Keep calling our company on many of our phone lines looking for someone who has retired. Would not say who they represent or how we could get the company removed from their list.

There was a rude lady called and she was ask if the call was personal or bussiness she replyed personal and what did it matter and why was it my bussiness. Being the owner it was very much my bussiness. She was then told this was a bussiness which did not recieve person calls. Her reply was that she was given this number by this person and was told it was okay to call at work. Because of the company policy the employee was fired. I sure do hope she was telling the truth and someone doesnt get sued over this lady losing her job. I really think there should be something done to these people who constantly call and harrass you no matter where you are. They should not be able to call you on your job. And if they do they should have to leave their personal name, the company they work for and a return number so you will know who to sue or bill for your lost time on the phone.When you tell them one time to take your number off their list and they don't you should be able to do something. With jobs being scarce this is not the time to make a person loose their job on purpose, how do they sleep at night.The government needs to crack down on calls like this make companies really pay when they just keep on calling and harrassing people. They should have to pay a fine.

calls several times a day.  Most of the time no one there.  today they asked for someone with the same last name but don't know the person.  It's really annoying to get these calls all the time.

called but didn't leave a message.  i returned the call.  it's a company called Asset Acceptance.  a collection agency.  before you deal with these people (if you have to) research them on the web.  i found nothing but bad things about them.

Call my cellphone at least onece a week. It is Asset Acceptance, a debt colletion agency. Rumor has it that it is assocated with bank of america.

Spoke too fast, so I couldn't undertand.  It was from some "Acceptance" corporation though.

Received another "Unknown name, Unknown number" on the caller ID.  This is happening entirely too often.  Getting pretty sick of it. Someone on these posts says it a company called Asset Acceptance, a collection agency.  I don't owe anyone any money, so they shouldn't be calling me!!!

I received several calls from 804-234-9055 on my cell phone but I never answer them as there's no identification of what company or person's name.  Now - here's something interesting - I NEVER give out my cell number to anyone because I am HEARING IMPAIRED.  Where the heck did this company ever got my cell phone number to begin with??  I believe they got it from Sprint whom I have my cell phone coverage with.  I wonder if Sprint actually sells people's cell phone number listings to companies like this phone number and possibly violating our privacy??  Some people are correct about "do not call" registry as I did sign up all of our phone numbers with them, yet, where did they get my phone number from?  That's something I plan to investigate with a lawyer to talk with Sprint to see if they violated the cell phone users' rights??  Hmmmm... anyone of you have Sprint coverage for your cell phone?  If so, take this my interesting perspective being Deaf and never giving out my cell phone number to anyone because how can I communicate with someone if I can't hear??  What a joke...  I have my cell phone for email, Internet, text messaging, etc... NEVER for voice calls!!

Called for the umpteenth time and today I answered the phone but put it down. Eventually a man came on saying "hello... hello", so I just put in on speakerphone and let him listen to me heat up my lunch in the microwave. He mumbled something about wanting to wrap this up because he had better things to do. Well, if you have better things to do, what the heck are you doing calling me?! Anyways, I didn't respond and he mumbled some other stuff and eventually hung up.
BTW, I don't have outstanding debts except a mortgage, but I do have an account with Bank of America. I think I'll be calling them soon to make sure I get removed from any and all list that they sell.
I've definitely noticed a HUGE increase in telemarketers and scammers calling. I google every number and usually get pages like this of people getting the same calls. So much for the Do Not Call list!

I donot think the donot call list works...i got the donot call list and these annoying debt collectors keep calling me...i wish they would leave me alone...they call me every day...it is very annoying...i donot pick up my phone so i wish they would get the message...someday...good luck everyone...

This is the same company that calls from 804-234-9050 to 9060. I guess that all they want is to steal your information, they mainly want your full name, birth date and SSN. They have been calling me for months, the first time I answered the phone they said that I owe some money to Bank One. That is just impossible, either they are making it up or they are confusing me with another person.

Their goal is to annoy you to the limits to get the information they want.

I don't answer the calls anymore but they call everyday and leave no message. I am planning to report this to the police, we all should do that.
