Got my first call from this number today, and when I answered but said nothing I heard a young man saying "Hello" several times, with the sounds of a call center in the background. Typical telemarketer behavior

Anthony from CAS wanted to service my air conditioning.  Pressed him for why they hide behind phoney phone numbers.  He actually tried to justify it.  Scam call center.

Called. I did not answer. Didn't leave a message.

Called a couple of times, decided to answer for a good reason. The prefix 805-228.... is the phone number prefix for the military base at Port Hueneme. The call was a person named Misha calling today about my air conditioner. I then asked her why she was hiding behind a military prefix to her phone number and she immediately hung up on me. That tells you all you need to know. This is a spoofed number and thus a SCAM. The number will now be blocked.

Called. Caller ID Message same as phone number. No message

this is a scam number do on share your info with them.

SCAM ALERT!! Caller ID shows " OXNARD CA" If you answer this call HANG UP IMMEDIATELY! Don't push any buttons on your phone because that tells the scammer this is an "active" number. They will then sell it to other scammers and you will get more harassing calls. The scam as changed to a Medicare-brace one. "Nancy," an A.I. voice, pressures the potential victim by stating if they ignore the call their Medicare coverage will be labeled "unavailable."

He said he wanted to confirm my name, address, birthdate, etc. in order the send me documents for a case placed with his office. But would not tell me what they were for or who they were from. I told him I’m not confirming any of my personal info with a stranger on the phone and hung up on him as he’s still trying to get me to answer his questions!!!!
