Another in the long list of 805 area code scam calls.  These criminals also call from 805 248-7849.
For months, we have received numerous calls from various 805 area code and the 396 exchange - now blocked.
Our blocker allows us to selectively block certain numbers.  We have all 805 2 numbers blocked.  This call was blocked and our phones did not ring.
Legitimate calls from the 805 area code can call right through, unencumbered.

so sick of these robo calls! constant call from 805 248 7662 stating something illegal is going on with my internet and that I need to call and speak with a rep.

Left a message that I was entitled to a refund that I could only receive online and to claim it I had to call with my computer and Internet running.

Threatened arrest under EXTREMELY FALSE Pretenses!!!

Calls, leaves no message.

I got a call from this number twice. They left 2 voicemails-one blank and then one message stating that they were going to deduct $299.00 from my bank acct and if I wish for this not to happen, then I was to give them a call to stop the subscription. Supposedly I subscribed to a Microsoft subscription 3 yrs ago and never paid up according to them. I told them this was not true and the man who sounded foreign got really belligerent with me, raising his voice and was trying to intimidate me. I told him he was a liar / scammer & I hung up on him

He also was trying to get me to do payment arrangements for a product I never purchased or subscribed too.

I got the same call, both today and yesterday.

A prerecorded message was left on my answer in system informing me that my subscription had expired and that they would charge my account $ 299.99 tomorrow morning and if I no longer wanted to keep said subscription to call and speak an associate.yeah right how illiterate do this scammers think I am since I have no subscription for any type of service this is 100% another scam to illicit account information

Excatly the same thing, pay up or else so I hung up on the person.  All 805 numbers primarily 805-248 numbers.

Told
My elderly, naïve grandfather it was his oldest grandchild needing bail money. Brought him to tears since we never hear from that relative, now hard to convince him it was a scam.
