Found the number on my caller I.D. No message.

live in ma, called my cell phone at 7:45 pm came up as missed call, not a known #.

India Microsoft scammers.

Microsoft Scam, Indian accent, called me awful names, cussed me out. I knew it was a scam but I politely played along. By the end of 7 mins he told me Microsoft will now suspend my "windows privileges for 6months". Ok, right. SMH

Scam that my warranty has expired in computer and told them I did not call anyone about my warranty and they hung up.

Indian accent male, stating my computer has been sending errors for the last 2 months. Asked me to turn on my computer to check it out.  I asked him if youre from Microsoft and receiving the errors, dont you know if my computer is on or off.  He said, "Fine Microsoft will now suspend your "microsoft privileges for 6months", and hung up.

had fun hanging up and blocking these spammers Just let them waste a minute and then bye + block. calls keep coming.

Scam big time. They will tell you to go to your computer and hit the window icon & R. I told them I did and it notified me that this phone call was a scam and they hung up! hahahah! Idiots.

Male with a likely Indian accent, claims to be calling from Microsoft about " your Microsoft license is about to expire". I told him that I don't own a computer, and it threw him off his script!

Called, no message, scam likely.

Left message about my "tax filings" with 24 hours to respond or "be taken under custody by the local cops for 4 serious allegations." Left a different call back number than the one on my caller id. It was 518-636-6579. I did not call them back. Haven't seen the cops yet.

Has called 8x, including at 1am EST. This is the Indian Microsoft scam

SCAM - They called wanting to talk about my son's computer claiming that it had been "compromised." Once the man (Indian accent) learned I am a programmer by trade, he quickly hung up.

Called my cell.  I didn't answer, they didn't leave a message.  I appreciate that they called my cell - much easier to block than my landline.

Enjoyed reading the entries above. AARP has a new podcast that I listened to this morning, called "AARP Presents The Perfect Scam." The episode was about just this kind of scam, the Microsoft/Apple Scam from India. Interesting program because it went into great depth. Will block this number because it appears to be a completely verifiable scam. Bet it isn't from the US, either, despite the phone number.

An Indian lady just called me on my Microsoft for update. No Way Jose am I falling for your scam!!!!

Indian people called from India.  I said that it is a bunch of BS.  Stop calling this number.  They hanged up the phone.  Caller did start saying that this is related with computer and Microsoft.

scam - wanted to help correct all the issues with my Microsoft systems. He became very rude and raised his voice because I would not do what he was asking.

Called my cell phone and didn’t leave a message. From what I’ve read in the comments above, it sounds like the person calling is a scammer. Will block the number.
