No voice mail was left

I don~t know who this is, but I~ve gotten 3 calls from this # in last 2 days.  No messages were left.  Call this morning was at 7 a.m.
Is that legal.

Caller ID says "Indiana"...  when i called it back, an automated voice wanted me to enter my pin-number.  Sounds fishy...

I recieved 3 calls yesterday from a local telephone # 909-770-7004 and when I would call that number back it I would receive a busy signal. Then today  I received the same call from the 909 770-7004 number waited on the phone said hello thinkin I would get someone to say don't call my cell anymore and then while I was doing that I received another call on call waiting from this 812-952-5777 # this person asked for a another person other than me stated he was from dish network and then I asked him that I received another call from that 909 # and if this was them he didn't answer I just stated take my # off their list. He just hung up.

Ed, I just recieved this same call see my comment regarding this business. I don't know if they are linked to Dish Network or not. And when I did call this number back it propmts me to do the same.

Called, rang twice, no message.  Hoping they don't call again.  Just showed up as the number on caller ID.

Has called numerous times and never leaves a message.

I just filed a complaint on the DO NOT CALL.GOV website regarding this 812-952-5777 number... hopefully it will get investigated and they will stop calling.

This just started for me.   Yesterday I got 2 and today at 5 am they started.   So far they have stopped.   I guess I have to file a do not call.
They didn't leave one for me either but anything like this from Indiana could be a bill collector because there is a huge call center in Indiana.  But then they would have left us messages.

I was informed that I had been elected to receive a Government Grant in the amount of $5,000.00 because I was over 65 years of age and had no past criminal record.  I was amazed at the information that this guy already had about me!!!when he asked questions about me.  Is our personal information easily obtained by anyone today?? Where are they getting all this info??

I just got a call as well, didn't let it ring very long at all.  I'd really like to know who this is.

I did a reverse lookup on the number at whitepages.com and got that it is from Lanesville, Indiana.  The provider is Verizon.  It is a land line.

i got a call from # 1-812-952-5777. someone asked me is that a right time to call. when i said yes and u can talk me he said ok then take care and have a nice day... then he hung up.. its looks very strange to me. but i petty confused when i saw these comments... ithink some action is to be taken to avoid these acts...

He has called numerous times. He asked for some guy named Carl the first time. I answered told him nobody was here by that name and not to call back.He keeps calling and hanging up.

I have received this call on our Caller ID several times a day and if we do answer they hang up. This morning when they called, I waited several seconds saying hello before someone came on the line. He told me he was from North American Loan & Debt and he could help us with our debt problems and save us all kinds of money. When I told him we had no debt and didn't need his help, he started to argue with me that he had records that proved otherwise (whatever that means). He also said this was not a sales call, whatever that means. I told him several times to remove our number from his records, he continued to argue and I finally hung up.

this number called me like 3 times then finally i answered and he said i applied for some sort of schooling. i dont remember doing that so i hung up i figured it was some sort of silicitor.weird

no message was left on answer machine..

A woman with a heavy (Hispanic?) accent said she was with Verizon Wireless.  She said I had won some type of sweepstakes.  I just told her I wasn't interested and hung up.

The government do not call list is a joke, at least for cell phones.  They don't do a thing for the irritating, inconvenient, disrespectful foreigners that litter our time and increase cell phone costs.  The idiots can not even "spank anglish"!

I've gotten literally several hundred of these types of calls and I don't even know how they got my number but you can always tell its a telemarketer when they just hang up when you rebute them.  I've started adding each one of these a-- wipes to my cell phone address book under "Z" and using the "no ring" option, that way I don't get disturbed when they call again.  I now have 72 "Z" names and I'm adding more all the time but at least I'm not bugged by the same number twice.

Carolyn, as you know, everybody has their hand out and trying to reach into our individual pockets.  Please don't give any initial caller any personal information when they are saying that they need to send you money.  They have called me under a few different schemes saying that I am to receive money and that all they need is my bank account number  and SS number so they can wire it to me.  Bull, RUN!
