Voicemail from TEK systems, a recruiting company specializing in high-tech jobs.

I think I gave them my number a few years ago, so really this wasn't unsolicited. Just unexpected.

I got this call from "Tek Systems" and it sounded like someone from India and English wasn't his first language. I had been working with a recruter from Tek Systems and they log all of their calls. When I spoke with my recruiter he said that there wasn't a call logged in their system.

If you work with this company trust me on this you will KNOW who your recruiter is. If you have to change recruiters they will do a soft hand off to another recruiter by introducing you to them. Don't give any personal information to anyone calling from this number. Email or call your local office directly.

ph. number not in my contacts. left a voice mail, but i always come here for unknowns.  call was from Tek systems. i have worked with them in the past. Not spam. adding to my tek systems contact list

All I understood on the call was "tech" so I'm assuming it was TEK Systems as everyone else is reporting. I have never worked with this agency and I'm not seeking a new job, so not sure why they're calling me.

Another dumb recruiter that doesn't understand that candidates can't talk in the middle of workday at the office. Blocked.

An Indian woman Vijeetha Poojari emailed me from career builder earlier today about a job.. I gave her my contact  info and resume.. she thanked me n that was it.. afterwards I noticed the email subject "opening at Target" was started with a common letter and it didn't sit right with me..after 8 PM i got a text from this number asking if I wanted to work with Target. I responded within one minute and got no response. Now that I think of it, do recruiters even work so late?

Unwanted Text Messages

Forward unwanted text messages to 7726 so that your carrier will block them. Some carriers do not accept that code and if that is the case then contact your carrier about how to block unwanted text messages. Also, never, ever click on a link in a text message as it will probably install something nasty to your phone that you really will not want to deal with and never, ever respond to one because lets them know that they have a good number with someone on the other end.  It will result in more calls and texts.

Update! Got an email from career builder just  now. One of their fraud specialists informed me that the email had a high risk of fraudulent activity and I shouldn't have replied.
The email is vipoojary@marketsource.com. don't make the same mistake I did.

Received a text message asking if I would be interested in a part time position at Target. Pretty sure Target doesn’t hire that way. Blocked.
