Called our landline and left a brief message - of sorts.  Said "Hey ______ (my first name)", then hung up.  A legitimate caller would have left a useful message.  Highly likely another worthless scammer.

claimed to be a "VIP host in Las Vegas"

No name.  Left message for the Grapevine Community asking everyone to download a phone app from the Apple or Google store called "Netzinity" and claiming it's some sort of new "whiz bang" bluetooth technology that will be a great deal for the community.  HAS to be a scam.

I was sure that the message spelled it with a "z", but I went to the Google Play Store and only found an app for "Netcinity".  Here's its description:

"The NETcinity app is a new way for consumers to receive discounts and promotions based on their proximity to a local business. Utilizing Blue Tooth Low Energy communications the NETcinity app is able to adjust discounts and promotions according to your physical location. All you have to do is move around your community as you normally do and you will begin to receive new and exciting promotions and discounts from the local businesses that you already know and love. You may also discover something NEW!"?

I still call it SPAM and certainly wouldn't want a service tracking where I am to try to direct me to certain businesses!

Recorded call indicating Grapevine was selected for a new bluetooth app solution....  wants app downloaded.
