Called cell phone, YouMail app blocked it immediately saying it was a known criminal scam

Voicemail left was threatening me to call IRS investigative services immediately due to unreported bank accounts and wages. I called back & told them the IRS does not make phone calls and was hung up. Second time I called back I was told I must be in trouble because I called back, was hung up on. Third time I was told to speak up, was hung up on. The “ IRS” has blocked my number from calling back.

Voicemail claiming to be IRS and that they where going to take me to court.

Scam irs phone call. When I asked if this was one of those scam calls, he hung up.

Message left was broken up, noisy, and poor in grammar. Threat of suing from supposed IRS saying to call for details. I called back and told them they were going to prison. Hung up on me.

... [muffled voice then]: ...filing a lawsuit against you.  To get more information please call 817-385-6962.  Please call immediately.  I repeat ... [then sounded like a fax machine].   Still waiting for this lawsuit after 2 years.   Scam do not answer.  Similar numbers over the last few years.  NOTE:  There is no IRS office in Arlington, Texas

My message said I had suspicious and fraudulent activity on my "socials" . I love the internet so I can see immediately that this is a scam.

"Hello, we have been trying to reach you. This call is officially final notice from IRS Internal Revenue Services. The reason of this call is to inform you that IRS is filing lawsuit against you. To get more information about this case file, please call 817-385-6962. I repeat 817-395-6962. Thank You." CALLER ID: ANONYMOUS 1-817-385-6962 5:23PM 22 APR 2019.  SCAM!!!!! FOR SUCH!!!!!!!!

Threatening call saying they will suspend "my socials" if I don't call them back.

said my social security would be suspended if i didn't call back

Voicemail that was left was robotic sounding but it mispronounced so many words. Said my "socials" came up in a criminal investigation and they needed payment to prevent this fraudulent charge from sending me to prison. Yeah....ok....

Unidentified robocall:  "We have found suspicious and fraudulent activities on your social.  To get more information on this case file please call immediately on our department number 817-385-6962."

Very interesting. No VM left on my phone and I never answer numbers I don’t know. My wife sitting next to me got a call the same time I did, in fact the phones stopped ringing at the exact same time. She got a robo VM saying she needs to renew her Window key even though we don’t own any devises with Windows on them.  I understand from this site my call would have been from the IRS. I noted TEXAS when call came in and bet it was an IRS Scam. This is why you don’t answer calls from numbers you don’t know.

Haha I got the same voicemail from this number.  Too bad I don't use my "socials" so there would be no suspicious or fraudulent activity on my "socials".

Automated recording saying my social security number has been suspended because of suspicious activity....to call back for more information.

I received a call to my direct work number area code 404 in Atlanta GA.  They left a message which was basically a recording that said I needed to contact them as there is suspicious and fraudulent activity on my social.  So I called them back.  A foreigner answered my call and I asked for the person "Kevin Bingham" which was on my caller ID.  He said I must have the wrong number because this is the Social Security Administration.  The number was correct.  I verified the number with him and also checked my caller ID to make sure I didn't make a mistake.  He continued to say this is the Social Security Administration.  I asked him the Social Security Administration for what STATE?  And he hung up.  Obviously he had caller ID too and knew the number I was calling from was an area code in GA and not TX.  Complete SCAM!

They left me not clear digital voice short message about legal procedure and asking to to call back. I locked that number.

They called claiming to be Social Security Administration saying they were gonna withheld my check bc they got me for money laundering

Don't answer numbers I dont know so they left this robotic message: "We have found suspicious and fraudulent activities on your social security number. To get more information on this case file please call immediately  817-385-6962. Please return our call as soon as possible before we file court action against you on this case. Again the number is 817-385-6962"
