- Judy M| 5 repliesRecieved a previous call from 347-286-7172 (Staten Is, NY), a recording from "Agent Mary Jones" advising of legal action, arresting (me) at work, the usual jibberjabber scam bit today. Now the same exact recording from this number 817-385-6963 (Arlington, Texas), same agent name. I really hope no one falls for these scams.

Called these guys back, first question asked was "What's your name and last 4 digits of social security number?" Told him a fake name and number and he immediately hung up.
Called him back a second time, and his response was "You [***]. Call again and I'll cut your balls off."- Call type: Scam suspicion

- TriciaScam. I called them back 3 times just for fun. Two times there were people with very heavy accents. Other time there was a guy who spoke pretty good English. He must receive a lot of prank calls as well, so he was trying to scare me that he was a lawyer. Come on, make up your mind: social security or a lawsuit! Lol scammers.

- AndreaThis robocall is so fast one can barely understand it. The main gist is that they are threatening arrest due to some serious allegations supposedly brought to the attention of the local sheriff (why from Texas? I am not even close to there?) The callers are threatening freezing bank accounts, closing social security numbers (not likely) and having me arrested unless I call them back at this number. If this call was real I would have a real person on the phone, not some robot making threats.
- Caller: They did not identify a company name
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- Andrea replies to AnonymousSounds like a terroristic threat! My thoughts are they are seeking to steal identities. Never give out your SSN
- AnonymusGot the similar call. I hanged up the phone & have reported to my organisations scam prevention team.

- AThis is definitely a scam. They called me twice and left a voicemail threatening to arrest me and "cancel my social security number". I called the number back to see who was going to arrest me and the guy sounded like he was chillin and then he realized what I was calling about so he started to read from his script. I asked him where he was calling from with such a heavy accent and he acted offended. Then when I asked him "wassup? what do you want?" , he told me to "watch my manners" LOL! I said you're telling me to watch my mouth but you're trying to scam me. He had nothing to say and was stuttering. So I hung up. SMH
