He hung up on me!

I have received numerous calls from this number, especially in the afternoon hours. They always hang up before the answering machine can kick in.I have no idea who this is,and refuse to answer when they call.

These people have called my 73 year old mom, and I have reported them to the police in her city. Everyone should call the Better Business Bureau and report them.

I am tired of getting calls from this number and no one answers when I answer. I want it stopped!!! I am on the do not call list.Y3R6

so what happened?

They keep calling me also... no one there and no voice message left. I am getting on the DoNotCall.gov website and reporting them. If we all do this they will do something about it. Thanks to everyone for there input. It has helped me.

Called asking for my mother-in-law. She has never been associated with this number. I would guess that they are desperate for a sale; but they hung up on me.

Have called me 5 time this morning.  I answered the first call.  They claim to want to inform me of recent changes to Medicare.  I told them I didn't need the info.  They keep calling back.  They hang up after 3 rings and before my answering machine can pick up.

SHC 817-632-3500 just called.  When I picked up they hung up.  What is the sense of this type of call?

SHC - who is this??? they don't leave a message.  I am not answering my phone if I don't know WHO it is, and if they don't leave message - guess it was not important!!!! SCAMMERS they are all out there! Dont trust anyone!

the best way i know of is get on the national do not call listing,, you can get that number by dialing 411 usually. after you are on the list for thirty days you can have shc or any other solicitor procecuted. hope that helps.

I get calls everyday from 817-632-3500 and the Caller ID only says "National Group" but from reading the posts here, I suppose we are talking about Senior Health Consultants. We just got this phone number when we switched to a cable phone.  Apparently, the people who had this number were senior citizens because we get calls from life insurance solicitors, reverse mortgage sales people, etc. I have a feature on my phone, not through the phone company, which allows me to BLOCK certain numbers and so I block this number.  However, the phone will still ring one time.  You might see if your phone does this.  Problem is, I can only block so many numbers, I think 10 or 12.  

Also, if you are on the Do Not Call List, you can file a complaint at their website, but you have to have been on the list for 31 days.  Be sure to register! It's easy to file a complaint.  You have to know the estimated time of the call, the date and so on.  You can easily get this from your phone of course.  I always mention in the complaint to take a look at this website to see all the complaints about the calling number.  It takes a little bit of your time, but it's the only way to get rid of these annoying solicitors who won't play fair.

Keep getting calls from this number and like everyone else, they hang-up when answered. Annoying! These should stop. Rediculous!

Get calls from these people never say anything

I answered, but it was a hang-up/disconnect. Looks like the Caller ID is Senior Health Care. Not sure if it means them or me. ;-)

My parents got a call from SRC today and I saw that they were being pushy...so I took the call.  They said that they are trying to make appointments to "help seniors understand the new Medicare changes".  I politely told her .."My parents NEVER have out of pocket expense because their doctors ACCEPT ASSIGNMENT on Medicare...LOOK...I work for a doctors office...I know the changes in Medicare..so they have NO REASON TO MEET WITH YOUR REPRESENTATIVE".  They said.."ok..thank you"  and hung up.  I hope that works..but if not...I will place call block on their numbers.

Their website is http://shcmarketing.com/...so you should file a complaint with them too.  Maybe if we drive them nuts ..like they do US...they might stop

SHC calls me 3 or 4 times a day and never answers I am a day sleeper, which means I work at night (DO NOT CALL ME EVER)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

will not stop calling my elderly parents....... want take no for an answer about making an appointment to come out..

Got a call from them so looked up the #. Have been getting calls from them for a long time now, but when I let the machine get it no message is left. As I was reading this thread they called again.

I said hello and was greeted by "Mrs. XXX" I asked who was calling and was told Sr, Healthcare Consultants." I told them I don't know why they are calling me, they do not apply to me or anyone in this house. He laughed a bit and said he was looking for a Mrs. Williams--we bought the house from them 7 yrs ago now. I told them to put me on their do not call list and not to call again. He laughed like it was a joke because I was so ticked off. UGHHHHH
