Received call wanting to know about my Medicare Supplement.  Called number back and got a recording acknowledeging that it was a Telemarketing Survey Call.  Guess they don't bother to adhere to the No Call Lists.  Reported to Texas AG office and Federal.  Hope they get burned HARD.

Wanted to know my Medicare supplemental insurers name.  Insisted that I give it to her,  I did not and told her not to call again.

Call from ASB 817-806-4831. Woman identified herself as calling from (I think)  American Supplemental Bureau (?). She immediately asked a question about my Medicare supplemental insurance.  Told her I couldn't identify her as being from my insurance company so wouldn't give her any personal information. She said it was not my company but because of so many complaints of rate increases they were authorized to call people about the increase and that she wasn't selling anything. She again started asking personal questions. She mentioned "because of so many complaints about rate imcreases" several times. When I told her to remove my number from her calling list, she said she would but gruffly told me she would have to make a notation that I had been called and had declined the information.

Called ask about my supplement insurance, Hung up on her.

Called and asked for my husband, when I asked her who she was and why was she calling, she again asked for my husband by his first name.  Told her he was not here, she said she would only speak to him.  Refused to give me any information about who she was and why she called.  From reading the above posts, I believe this is a telemarketing call and may be a scam.

Person claimed to be with the OK insurance department and the reason they were calling was because the rates of their medicare supplement were too high.  Looks like this scam has been going on for a while.  Notified the OK insurance department fraud unit.

Louise, I work for an insurance company.  Are you in OK?  That's where one of our insured's got this call.  I really want to get all the information i can to the insurance department.

Called and left no message.  Most likely a scam.  I report these types of calls to the No Call List and nothing happens.  I think I get more of this type of call since the No Call went into effect.  Can't the PUC do something about them?

Called and when I started telling her I was happy with my supplemental company, she interrupted me and became very rude.  I said "don't get rude with me" and then I hung up.  I usually don't answer these calls, but made the mistake today.  Won't do that again.
