- JudithNow a couple of incoming calls from this obviously fake phone number. I ignore the call and there is no message left. I don't know who it is. A previous post said it's a debt collector for HSBC but I have absolutely no dealings with that company.

- Tom818-100-1000 Caller ID says "Name Not Found" Recorded message for lowering our credit card interest ... press 9 ... Operator comes on line after call was forwarded and rang numerous times. I said that I received a robo call regarding my credit cards and reducing the interest. The operator asked if I had credit card debt when I responded, No, but I want you to .... (was going to ask them to remove my name) ... Click... disconnected.

- Gerry replies to JETAMESThanks for the tip on the Panasonic call-blocking phone. I'm getting one today. I've been taking notes on marketers/scammers et al over the past few months. I'm now getting as many as 3 a day. This stuff is growing as fast as spam!
- DaleI get one of these calls a couple of times a week. The phone number alone, 100-1000 is obviously bogus so I know right off not to answer it. It's a scam anyway I believe. This time I got a recorded message about duct cleaning. We used to get one about carpet cleaning and car warranties and reduce your credit card interest. I think they all want your credit card information. That's how they set up an appointment for your duct cleaning. You verify your credit card first. The carpet cleaning calls we'd get (I'm in the Los Angeles area) would be from the East Coast. Long way to go to clean carpets. Mostly any call I get with an odd area code or odd number or odd name I just don't answer and wait for then to leave a message to see if it's anything important.
- sraebeerirritating calls every day which we do not answer. I think its a rotary dial, as the calls come fifteen minutes later each day
- PatI recv'd call today - no msg of coarse.
Do not know if following is true BUT I have been told that collection agencies often do the scam calling "duct cleaning, carpet cleaning etc." with bogus numbers just to verify that someone is home and picking up then they call again with actual collection call.
Also the push 2 to be removed shows them you are home. Either way if I dont know the no I don't answer and no msg is no call...........
Oh and any time u call an 8xx number did u know that because they are paying the bill YOUR NUMBER is automatically given to them ? So they know who called them.......- Caller: unkn
- Mellonie C. AllisonI get this number on my phone with no message. They call several times in a day. When I try to call them back, the message is that the number if no longer in service. How can it be used to make calls and not be inservice.
- RosieSeveral calls from "Caller No Name" and the phone # 1-000-0000. I NEVER answer these calls.
