When you call the number back, you get a message "Verizon Wireless this number is not in service". The number called my land line 5 times between 2p and 7p.

"We're professionally cleaning air ducts..." S L A M!

This SCAM company just called me - 5:50 PM. The message said something about Cleaning Air Ducts. Most of these type companies are scammers & these losers shouldn't be calling.

When I saw the number and "Name Not Found" on the caller ID, I did not answer the call.  They left no message on my answering machine.  Since this is Sunday, a day for prayer, let us pray that God will curse and damn anyone who does telemarketing or debt collecting on Sunday.  I have been receiving calls from collection agencies frequently and I have never had a late payment in my life.  I have also been receiving a lot of call from people who want to clean my furnace ducts.

These losers just tried to call me again.  Number entered into my block list.  See ya scumbags.

Another call from this number.  ID says "California".  When I call to complain, it's not in service.  And on a Sunday too!

CALLED @ 5:25PM 3/6/11.
SPOOFED PHONE NUMBER.  I KNEW IT WAS SPOOFED, BUT I ANSWERED JUST TO EFF WITH THEM.  
SHUCKS!  NO ONE WAS THERE.
THIS COMPANY HAS ALSO USED 818 100-1000 - ANOTHER SPOOFED NUMBER.
RECENTLY, I BOUGHT A PANASONIC PHONE THAT BLOCKS ALL "OUT OF AREA" CALLS, "PRIVATE CALLS," PLUS ANY NUMBERS THAT YOU MANUALLY ENTER.
THESE [***] ARE NOW BLOCKED!!!
FOR A LAUGH, I CALLED THE NUMBER BACK - "CALL CANNOT BE COMPLETED AS DIALED."

YET ANOTHER CALL FROM THESE [***] - HOWEVER MY CALL BLOCKER BLOCKED THE CALL.  YEAH!

I'm glad for your statements!  It's the truth!

Fact 1 - the DNC list CLEARLY does not work!  Everyone knows this...or should know this!
Fact 2 - filing a complaint with the FCC does not work!  A total waste of time.  Done that.
Fact 3 - having an unlisted phone will not help you.
Fact 4 - asking/begging telemarketers to take you off their call list does not work!
Fact 5 - no "class action" suits that are filed and certainly, this is not the remedy.  Many of these telemarketers are in other countries and out of the jurisdiction of the USA.

Call blocking phones are very inexpensive $40-$60 and they come with, at least, one wireless handset.  Very, very convenient.

STOP BEING ANNOYED - STOP BEING A VICTIM - BUY A CALL BLOCKING PHONE!
Uniden and Panasonic make CALL BLOCKING telephones.  They’re cheap - $40-$60 and they usually come with a 2nd. wireless handset.  And they work beautifully!  These phones also block “PRIVATE”, “OUT OF AREA” and "UNKNOWN" calls!!!
I have had the same home number and the same business phone number for over 15 years and my home and my business lines (both published) seem to be on every imaginable call list.  I bought a Panasonic call blocking phone for my home and I bought a Uniden call blocking telephone for my business.
NO MORE PROBLEMS WITH TELEMARKETERS.  THEY CAN’T GET THROUGH!
We can stop these telemarketers IF we all buy a call blocking phone.
