Possible SCAM artists claiming to have a warrant for your arrest unless you pay them $$ before 5pm.

Don't know who these creeps are but was threatened with arrest. There has to be something that can be done

Got several calls from this number. never left a message. finally today they left a message and said it was an urgent legal matter and i needed to call this number back. so i called the number back and it says the person is on the other line and to leave a message. then it says the mailbox is full and it cuts off. seems to be a scam. the guy that called me again and said his name is Frank. seems like a funny name for a person from India. he asked me if i had an atty. i said no. he went: Oh my god! you need to call this number right away! told him that when i called the number it does not go anywhere just says box full. he said oh no! you call right away. good luck! seems weird.

Repeated calls from this number stating they are the federal crime investigation bureau. I asked to be taken off their list. They said they received a claim against my name and social security number. I asked what claim and asked that they mail me any information. When I hung up they called back 4 more times.
They did have my address and email. When I asked to be taken off their list, the man said "Have fun getting arrested"

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

Yep these people are calling me as well a lawsuit had to be establish this is pure harassment

I have received these calls and finally today a message was left saying that I needed to call them back with my attorney information.  I don't think they realized I work for Attorney's and my husband is a Police Officer.  It was actually kind of funny.  They are saying that I have three counts of criminal charges for something that was reported to them from customer relations.  I asked them if they could tell me who it was that complained.  The caller started asking if I have any unpaid loans anywhere like mortgage, car, student loan etc.  I told him that I didn't have any of them and I knew this because I ran my credit reports just recently.  He asked if I was sure.  Then said that he would be sending me a letter and my Attorney a letter stating what it's all about.  I know it's a scam, but seriously who are these people and how do I get them to stop calling me.

I got a mesasge and it really scared me.. Apparrently I'm going to jail... I got scared, but think of it this way.. Nobody is able to go to jail after paying such an outrageous amount of money. It's rediculous!

I just got a call from this number....male could barely speak English and did NOT know how to pronounce my name.  Threatened me with legal action if I or my attorney of record did NOT call him back immediately.  Do not know what I am supposed to have done that is so terrible.

Yea they called me today I told them I went to the police and they need to stop scamming people. All they kept saying was the no get in trouble they FBI.
