Stated they will arrest me on wednesday

They are scam artists.  I have reported the number to the police and telephone company.  I received the same threatening call.  DO NOT cooperate with them.

I received phone call about this number and asked them where they were located in order to resolve the alleged debt, they could not tell me. the number is (818) 275-4519 is a Landline. I contacted the La Crescenta Sherriffs dept and they are following up.

They called me and told me I was going to be arrested and needed to send 700.00 in prepaid visa cards in 1 day or i would owe 11,000 dollars.  They said they would be sending a police officer to my house in 15 minutes to arrest me if i did not fax my driver's license and ss #.  I did like a fool.  I am young and was scared.  The next thing I know they went in my bank account took out money. They tried to charge 2 airplane tickets to Venazula and hotel.  My bank shut my account down knowing it was not me.  I had to contact Homeline security fill out police report and now get a new D.L. and S.S.  They did call me from other numbers too.  They called my job over and over and thank god my job helped me and my mom to know I was scammed.  BEWARE.  They say they are from Orange Co. Legal Service using this number when in fact that is not the real number.  I really really want them caught.  They have a accent and go by different names. Hope I can help someone else out there.

My 83 year old mother received a call on our home phone and also my cell phone.  She called again and left a message.   I could not understand her she is Indian, and she was threatening my mother if she didn't call back.    I did not get the name of the company.

I jusy recvd two calls in a row , from a indian accent guy supposedly name Owen Miller , ask me to tell my lawyer to call him at his division and this is time sensitive. If i dont call him he is sorry he cant do anything for me? Wtf???? It dont makes sense i prior to this call two months ago i rcvd the same calls but from a 619 number and threaten me. I dont know how he got this number , this is an app on iphone i got for free text so how did they get it ? This is a scam and they need to get caught !!!!

I got calls from both 818-275-4519 and 619-292-8263 and they said that the Sheriff's office was coming to arrest me for money laundering and doing some type of payday scam... I didn't even let them get to the part of what they wanted me to do b/c I've had over 20 calls from various numbers since July 8, 2011 and I don't even let them start in. I say, "Sure, bring the police over. I'll bring mine and you bring yours and we'll see who will be in the most trouble, because yours will be IMPERSONATING police officers! I don't have time or breath to argue with you. I know you're a scam artist!"

I received a call on my work number which really freaks me out- telling me I owe for some kind of debt- wanting my attorney's name- claiming they are from Legal Service of Orange County- Mr. Joe Adams and he was sending police to arrest me for theft??? When I asked what it was about they told me " I knew " so just give them my information or I could be compliant and pay $1050.00 by Western Union wire in the next 24 hours or be in jail. Not sure they realized they were calling a police officer. I have made a call to the local Sheriff but this number is being tracked to a non-US location in the Philippines- do not give anyone your SS# or ANY personal information EVER- not even verifying an address. A legitimate company would always contact you via mail regarding a debt.

I have been receiving the same kind of calls, I turned it over to my lawyer, whom called and talked to them in front of me.  Knowing they were a scam, he basically told them off in a not so nice way.  They will change their names and the name of their company on a regular basis.  THIS IS A SCAM!!!!  DO NOT ANSWER THEIR CALLS.  I HAVE CONTACTED THE FTC (FEDERAL TRADE COMISSION) AND THE FBI.  ALL OF THESE PEOPLE HAVE A MIDDLE EASTERN ACCENT.  A DEBT COLLECTION AGENCY CAN NOT THREATEN YOU, THEY MUST TELL YOU WHAT COMPANY THEY ARE WORKING FOR.  THIS IS AGAINST THE LAW.  THE FTC IS LOOKING FOR THESE PEOPLE.  THEY PROBABLY ARE NOT EVEN IN THIS COUNTRY.  YOU CAN GO TO THE FTC WEBSITE AND THEY HAD A PRESS RELEASE ABOUT THIS SCAM SOMETIME BACK AND SO DID THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI, YOU CAN GO TO THEIR ATTNY GENERAL WEBSITE AND READ ABOUT IT.  YOU MAY ALSO CONTACT YOU STATE ATTNY GENERALS OFFICE.  THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO TO STOP THESE CALLS, NOTIFY YOU JOB IF THEY ARE CONTACTING YOUR PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT AND LET THEM KNOW YOU ARE BEING SCAM.  THEY ARE GETTING YOUR INFORMATION FROM THE INTERNET AND IF YOU HAVE EVER GOTTEN A LOAN ON LINE.  PROTECT YOURSELF AND TAKE THESE STEPS AND FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE FTC, FBI, AND YOUR STATE ATTNY OFFICE.  I HAVEN'T THOUGHT OF CONTACTING THE HOME LAND SECURITY OFFICE BUT THAT IS A THOUGHT.  IF THEY TRY TO CONTACT ME AGAIN I WILL DO THAT ALSO.  THE FTC SAID TO CALL THEM AND LET THEM KNOW ANY NEW NUMBERS AND NAMES THEY ARE USING.  MAYBE ONE DAY THEY WILL CATCH THESE SORRY LOW LIVES.  HOPE THIS HELPS!!!!

Dont be scared they are scam artist just tell them you know they are scam artist and see how fast the leave.They have no freaken life. They will change there names over and over but are the same people.

"James Franklin" called me and tried to get $8,500 out of me for Loan costs. Tried to settle for $968.00 and asked me to call him when I got to the Western Union. THIS IS A SCAM! I called the Police Department here in Florida and reported it. Could not understand them at all on the phone. sounded like they were from India.

This number has called me so many times, and always comes up 00000 on caller.  Every time it is a different name, same voice, and threatenting with coming to my job, arresting me.  This time I had a air horn ready!  and blasted them!

I am so sick of these people.  What ever happened to our to to privacy?  This one is Jason Miller, Parker & Parker.

Got a call from John Jackson(with an Indian accent are you kidding me).  Scam artist for sure.  I reported to the FBI and FTC.  They need caught.

YEAH THEY CALLED MY PHONE SAYING I HAD A LAWSUIT ON ME FOR OVER 9,000 DOLLARS BECAUSE I GOT A LOAN ONLINE THAT IS A LIE THEY  SAID THE MONEY WAS SENT TO MY ACCOUNT AT WELLS FARGO WELL YOU KNOW WHAT I DONT HAVE A ACCOUNT WITH WELLS FARGO THEN THEY SAID YEAH THIS IS YOUR DL NUMBER I SAID NOPE I DONT HAVE A LICENCE THEN THEY SAID THIS IS YOUR ADDRESS AND NOPE IT WASNT MY ADDRESS... WHAT A BUNCH OF IDIOT SCAM ARTISTS IF YOU ARE GONNA SCAM SOMEONE AT LEAST DO IT RIGHT OR DONT DO IT ATT ALL. THEN THEY WANTED ME TO RIGHT THEM A LETTER AND FAX IT TO THEM SAYING THAT I WOULD PAY HAVE ON 9-2-2011 AND TRHE REST ON 9-16-2011 THEN FOR ME TO GIVE THEM MY DEBIT CARD INFO  MY EMAIL ADDRESS MY HOME ADDRESS AND WORK INFO. THEY SAID I COULD SEND IT WITH A PREPAID DEBIT CARD OR WESTERN UNION OR EVEN MONEYGRAM... WHEN I ASKED ABOUT INFO ABOUT THE PLACE THAT SAID I SCAMMED THEM THEY SAID THEY COULDNT GIVE ME THAT INFO CUZ THE COMPANY DIDNT WANNA DEAL WITH ME AND WANTED ME TO BE PUNISHED TO THE MAXIMUM. IT WAS A MAN THAT SOUNDED LIKE A INDIAN HIS NAME WAS "ROGER BURNETT" AND THE OTHER WAS JOHN D BURNETT AND THERE WAS ALSO NAME CHARLES WATSON. DAMN 3 DIFFERENT GUYS TRYNA SCAM ME IN THE SAME PHONE CALL YOU COULD TELL THEY HAD NO EXPIRIENCE HAHAHA BECARFUL PEOPLE DONT GIVE OUT YOUR INFO TO ANYONE FOR ANY ONE FOR ANY REASON
