These people call me non stop, they are mostly foreign using American names, seriously?/ I get calls from different numbers, and they are not traceable because they are using internet phone services not land lines, they can change their phone numbers anytime, they are total scam artists, they buy your information from internet sources, and make threats to try and scare you, especially if you have applied for any types of loans online, but legally you are entitled to receive paper confirmation of any collection action against you, there is no debtors prison here, you will not go to jail, nor will the police come get you for having outstanding debts, if you really do have outstanding debts than ask for a letter outlining the debt, the amount, and a payment location (not money gram or western union either) . Collection agencies will never threaten harm, jail or police action, it is illegal. The only thing collection agencies can do is garnish wages if it gets that far, and they have to have a court order to do that. Once these people get your money, they take on a new number and keep going, you wont find them, if you google these numbers there is never a business or address associated with them, just a area code location which they could be in the middle of the Pacific ocean and still obtain a phone number with any area code! NEVER give bank account information over the phone.  Dont fall prey to these jacks!

THESE PEOPLE JUST CALLED MY PHONE THANK GOD I DIDN'T ANSWER! LISTENED TO THE VOICE MIAL STATING THAT I NEED TO GO TO MY LOCAL PD AND PICK UP MY FILES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I CONTACTED MY LOCAL PD AND INFORMED THEM OF THE MESSAGE! THE PD STATED DO NOT ANSWER THE CALL OTHERWISE THE SCAMMER HAS ALL UR PERSONAL INFORMATION!

A friend of mine received a call from 415-937-8430 on her cell phone and then at her place of employment.  Man stated his name was John Williams when he first called then he told her to call back and ask for Kevin Peterson which she did. When she called back she gave her name and the man said I am going talk and do not interrupt me.  He told her that criminal charges had been filed against her.  She told him she wasn't in trouble, he told her she stole money from Cash Advance USA she told him she didn't have a loan. How did this man get her place of employment phone number and cell phone number? He told her he was sending the police to her job to arrest her in an hour.  He was trying to get her personal information but she wouldn't budge.  She called the number later on and now no answer just a beep and the number has been disconnected. What is wrong with people? Is there anyway since she called the phone number back that they can access any information on her cell phone like bank information or any other private information?

These [***] keep calling me and my place of employment.  Threats are the same as the others that have complained here.  Police dept, blah blah blah.

Just got this call. The guy barely spoke English. And said he was calling from then office of Larry H Parker. Which is hilarious because he's a personal injury lawyer infamous in California.  For his slogan "I will fight for you ". Told b me to pick up my supeona from my local PD. What a scam. They prey on info they get from phishing your info off the web. Do not give them Any  info ever...

I just got the same message on my cell.

These people called me just now stating they were from a law office of larry hegg parker. a heavy accent i could hardly understand the message but he ask me to go to the police dept and get my subpena.  No address of the police dept, information on what this is regarding.  I know its a scam and i know legally the police department would not be handling anything like this.  I wish i could find out what link this is coming from.
