i got a text from this number

Got the text to and yeah this one is a scam, the message is so vague it's probably sent out to a bunch of people.

i got one from this number too. but this blog helped me to avoid it.

Got a call about my wanted ad, sent me a photo-host link. Zonealarm caught a virus from the GIMP program I tried to download.

Got a text regarding my wanted ad. The link to pics looked all wrong & pics never showed up, just said I needed to download a GIMP program. Yeah, right, i'm really going to download a program i've never heard of from a page that just LOOKS like a scam! Just another scammer.

Got a text regarding a "wanted" item on Craigslist. Looked up the # on-line before I reacted to the link in the text. I'm not THAT stupid!

Got a text from this number, regarding my wanted ad on CL. Went to photo link. Said app. Was not compatible with my tablet, to look at it from laptop. Googled the number, brought me to this page. Beware of scammers. - Rico, Boise I'd.

This person or people are trying to scam/ hack me. It was a Craig Wanted add.  It was a text (Monday Oct 1 2012 3:37 pm)  trying to get me to log on to Photo-host.net photo ID 686wtx I think he is a hacker trying to get in my computer for info.  My number is 206 793 1923 its a Sprint number if it helps.

received a text message for an item on craigslist, i already knew it was a scam because the text never mentioned what item they were talking about.

Also received a text from 818-334-2941.  Anytime someone sends me a text at 1am, tells me one thing....inconsiderate of others...the rest is normally downhill.

My ad had all information with links from factory with specs about what I was selling, so someone asking me if by looking at their photos to tell if this was the same as they were looking for, was the second alert.

Looks as if someone doesn't have enough to do...please discontinue their phone and find out who this person is to keep them from doing things that could end up being illegal to someone who doesn't see the signs as a scam.

got a message regarding my craigslist ad, but had lil info. i thought scam since it said i could have the item i wanted for free, message stated

Got the SAME scam from the SAME number. How come no one with authority is pursuing this number ????

guy is getting smarter, he did reference what I was selling on craigsl.. send me to picsoft and the name of the pics was christmas moms...  did not download then searched the scammers number and found this site.

Just got the same text as Jason did. But before I went to the link I googled the number and came across this site.

Same thing here. Same text with address. Fortunately I didn't respond. What the heck is wrong with people like this??????? Total scam
