keeps calling and no message, so annyoing

I got a call from them today and it took a second for them to answer. Finally someone came on the line said they were from Diversified Consultants and needed to confirm who I was and it was regarding a "sensitive matter"
After we went back and forth a bit as I am very skeptical they finally told me this was regarding an old unpaid bill from AT&T from last year, I told them that was paid off last year and they told me they are now in charge of the account and I needed to pay it by the end of the month or it gets reported to my credit. I spoke to a supervisor and cleared up the mistake. Still going to call AT&T and make sure all is good on there end. I left them in Dec of last year because they had horrible customer service issues and here we are 7 months later and I'm STILL having issues with them!
