I answered as it looked like a local number.  A (very unprofessional sounding) man said he was over at the home improvement center and mumbled some stuff about kitchens that I couldn't understand...I asked him how he got my number and he said "I got it from my boss."  I said I'm on the do not call registry and he hung up on me mid-sentence.

Caller has been calling...and calling... and CALLING. I have answered twice and demanded that i be removed from the calling list TWICE and the continue calling.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

Folks, please pay attention: if you think that posting your complaints, and making requests to have your numbers removed from any list on this forum is going to work, you're sadly mistaken. These telemarketers don't care if you're on the Do Not Call List; they don't care if you don't want them to call; they don't care if you call them names or hang up on them. They don't care if it's illegal. They just DON'T CARE.

They are relentless.

They will NEVER stop.

Best advice? Put your phone on silent, and never answer it. You are not required to answer that appliance. Let it ring, forget about it, and go on with your day. If someone wants to reach you that badly, they will leave a message.

I got another call from this company this morning. I asked for their contractor's license number and the caller became enraged and said he'd never divulge that info over the phone. He told me he would show me his license when he came to my house to give me an estimate. I told him I wasn't interested and he said, "oh no, I'm coming over right now" and rattled off my address. The guy was a total jerk.

Since he threatened to come over to your house i would suggest making a police report.  Also if you have the company name file a complaint here:  http://www.cslb.ca.gov/Contractors/
I am guessing that he must give out and probably even post his contractors number in his advertising, but in any case if he is registered with the state, the number should not be a secret.

called 7/03, 6/28, 6/19, 6/16.  probably other times as well.  never leaves a message, just hangs up. CID shows california call .

These people call my cell daily looking for someone who is not me.  I have asked them numerous times to take this number off their list.  I asked for a supervisor, the guy said he was a supervisor.  I told him how many times do I have to ask to be taken off their list I am not the person they are looking for.  The person was very unprofessional as he was telling me he has never spoken to me but because of my attitude I could expect to be called 5 to 10 times a day.  I wish I knew the company name of course they wont say who they are.

I get these calls at least once per day. Today I answered and told the man that I repeatedly asked to be taken off. The jerk on the other side basically laughed at me and said. I will call you every day, that is my job. When I said, I will report you to y the FCC, he responded,  how is that working for you. It sounded like  these jerks get off harassing and annoying people. I blocked the number

called and was very rude to my wife, telling her I had ordered a stripper pole.  Unwanted loser was a bully, saying he knew our address and had a delivery.

The guy called my girlfriend about installing a stripper pole in her bedroom.  He recited her first name, last name, and home address, and told her that the stripper pole would be "good exercise."  He used the name "Ricky."

This is at least the 8th time this number has called. This is at least the third since I told them,
on recording, not to call. This time it was someone who knew my name, apartment number,
and was mumbling something about installing stripper poles in all the apartments of the
complex. Man who called identified himself as "Ricky".

CID displays only california call and the phone # 8183923841.  They've called over a dozen times and never leave a message.  It feels like we're being targeted and harassed by whomever is calling.  Whatever they are, they are not part of a professional organization.

I got the same caller today. He said that a bunch of Mexican were going to deliver the striper pole and give me free burritos. He also said that he going get me a job selling oranges on the freway...racist

Keep calling over and over looking to serve a supena to some guy. Claim to be a collection agency. A black woman calls from the number every time. If it were legit they would have served the supena several months back. The number is completely bogus. I turned their number in to the FBI and several other places. Going to buy a call blocking device for my home phone so I never hear from the again. Hopefully, there was several times when this number claimed to be a home repair contractor. That changed quickly to this. So if this number comes up don't answer is. It's a scam!!

Calls repeatedly. I ignore the calls. They don't leave messages, but it's sometimes on my call log 2-3 times in one day.
