this number keeps calling my cell phone, will not respond to me, call back and get routed around to dead end extensions

I get this number every once in a while. Today I decided to call back after I answered and the man asked if he could speak with (my name).  I told him this was (my name)and he just hung up on me!  I redialed and...

It's a coast to coast call but with Time Warner Cable long distance is free so there is no money being made on their end.  

The VM comes on and welcomes the caller to Affirm Tele-Sales.  I pressed 1 for sales and dead air awaited me for quite some time before I was told I could leave a message.  HA!  I was then told to hang up because the message box was full.  Give me a break.  I called back and pressed 2 for customer service and was also confronted with dead air.  I'm on the Federal Do Not Call List.  I'm keeping track of the number of times they call.  I have reported them as I threatened to back a month ago but they still keep calling.

Called threatened to charge my account even though i said i didn't want the product.

They called my cellphone, there was nobody there.  I made an official complaint with the 'National do not call' people since my number is registered with them.

continues to call and hangs up. I want it to stop!!

Called at 4:12 AM.  no response when we answered.

is there anyway to make it stop? i keep getting the call atleast 7 to 8 times a week or even more... so annoying when i try calling back and cant get in touch with anyone.

Can you believe these dolts called me on a Sunday (12-22-08) at 10:48pm?!?  Yes, I am also in the 'do not call' list. How dare they! I'd like to fly out there and ring the guy's neck. This isn't the first time they called, either. I get very nervous when someone I do not recognize on caller ID calls me. It makes me think that a murderer is out to get me and I freak out. I almost threw up from worry last Sunday.

Same problem as the rest of you.  They have called my cell phone every night between 8 & 9 for the past 5 nights.  I am also on the NDNC list and have reported them.  Can anyone tell me how long this goes on, or if it ever ends?

Did these calls ever stop?

This caller calls me at least once or twice a week. And on several occasions has called me twice a day. They call very early in the morning, 5 am or so.

Got a call on my cell phone today from these people.  Didn't leave a message.  Tried calling back but got a busy signal.  When I got home I tried calling them from my Skype phone and got some kind of static/dead air and then the call was disconnected.  Probably another one of those unlicensed, untraceable "telemarketers" who don't play by the federal law rules and are in another country but use a spoofed number via VOIP or something.

Received a call 1/18/09 4:45 pm cst.  Unknown caller.  No response on CA end of line. On the DNC list.....

Called March 9 @ 10:00 pm; asked for Zack when I answered.  Called again March 10 @ 6:49am.  No response when I answered.

This number keeps calling me, hanging up and when I call back I get put on hold then hung up on. I found the number belongs to Affirm Direct a sales compnay and the OWNER is David Kluge his PERSONAL CELL number is 818-566-8684 - Call him and see how he likes it!

This number calls me almost every day, never leaves a message, I have been hung up on multiple times when I answer. Today I just received the call, immediately called back and after choosing "customer service" and waiting on hold for almost 5 minutes, got a message saying that I was calling after their business hours and to leave a message or try again. Yeah, right. Funny how they can call me after their "business hours" but I cannot call them back immediately afterwards.

Asked for details about credit card, name and home address.
