I called them back.  Apparently they are a call center for charitys and fundraising.

They called @ 8:10 am this morning.  It is a Saturday.  I have been up all night with a sick child.  They wanted money for Texas Special Olympics .... again.  We volunteer our time.  That is the answer I have given for the last several years and still they call.  I tried calling the number back and got a message about how Medallion is a wonderful organizition that helps non profits and charitable organizations.  I understand that giving is down every where in the current economic climate but if I have never donated on the phone what makes them think a phone call at 8:00 am on a Saturday will change my mind!

This woman calls our office literally every day asking for my boss. Even when I say he is out of the office for the day, she will call back later. My boss is in and out of the office all the time, yet she has called everyday for the past 3 weeks, never leaves a message or a voicemail. She is very rude and demanding on the phone, but I don't know what to tell her other than the fact that she will probably never speak to my boss. My question is "Will she ever give up?!!?" Who are these people??

These people constantly call, at all hours of the day.  They don't leave a message, so when I call them back to find out what they want, I get charged for a long-distance phone call.  If this is a service for charity, the charity needs to wise up - when I find out what the charity is, I will never support it again!
