A new scam 818 number - this is but one of the 80+ scam 818 calls that we have received over the past months.  Seriousness thinking about blocking the entire 818 area code even though it is a local area code.
This number is now blocked!

We already had this number blocked because these criminals called March 7th and again today, March 8th.
When they call - our phones do not ring.
Note to dotard scammers - we will never answer your calls and we will never call the number back.

Thank you for your notes on these con people. They called in the last 3 days and today at least twice. If you decide to pick up the phone, they remain very quiet and wait for a while then hang up. Chickens. I had to remove some of my blocked numbers (limit is 30) to place this number on my block list. These criminals won't be able to disturb my family anymore.

Called 3 times this afternoon- number was already blocked, but they don't give up.

Blocked the number as soon as I saw it.   It is from the same area code and exchange 818-465 as multiple other spam calls I have received recently.

A little trick I use when I get a number that I do not recognize but is a possible "real" number/call for me is to pick up the call and remain completely silent. If I remain silent the call does not pick up on their end because most of these telemarketing callers use calling software that does not put the call through on their end if someone on the other end does not speak when the call is answered. After a few seconds of silence the call is dropped and no need to argue with the telemarketer calling my phone.
