I don't know if this was a robocall or a wrong number, but it was from "Jacob" who wanted to know if I was still having roof issues from the recent rains and he was available to make repairs.  Could be legit, but could be a home improvement robocall too.  Left a voice mail but I ain't calling back.

Called me 6 hrs after croozer's review.  Blocked it as spam..

Left VM on office line at 8 pm -- JACOB asking if we had same roof problems as in recent rain.  Had no roof problems, never called a roofer.   Absolutely a TELEMARKETER.

Assume anyone who calls you for contracting work is trying to scam you. Don't do business with these pesky ripoff artists. Usually if you ask for their contractor license number they will hangup.
Beware of calls that have a caller ID of "Home Center"; it's a scam and ripoff.
My neighbor was taken for a lot of money this way.
