Call from this number with no message around noon yesterday.  Caller ID said "Unknown Name".

I've been getting calls from 818 area code with a 666 prefix for about a month, and I suspect they are all from the same "company."

(818) 666-3566 "Unknown Name" - no message

(818) 666-3080 Live person name Lucia or Lucinda left a message saying she found my resume online and is calling to set up an appointment for her manager.  The didn't say WHAT company they are or what position they are filling.  When I called the number, I got a voice mail saying "The customer you are calling is not available."

(818) 666-3211 Live person name Mary left a message saying she's from Bankers, they found my name on the "EDD list" (must mean CALJOBS), and is calling to set up an interview.  Didn't say for what.  "Real" openings never say the word "interview" unless they grill you over the phone first, and they would always tell you what position they are filling.  The Caller ID said "Charmaine Marry".  When I called the number, I got the same voicemail as above.

(818) 666-3575  ID said "Unknown Name".  No message.

I've been receiving the same kind of calls as mentioned above for about the last two months.  They never tell me what their company does and never follow up with an email about the position for which they are trying to fill.

It all seems very suspicious and at the very least, unprofessional.

Ever since I've been unemployed have been receiving these kinds of calls......they never leave any message!  That's the first clue  that these are not calls about employment opportunities, but rather some sort of scam or sells pitch!  Legitimate callers leave messages with, if not, all the details, at least a name and some indication of their business.  It is stressful enough to be in the job market, but these calls are so annoying.  My suggestion to folks having the same experience is to block those numbers if you can.  At least, you won't have to be bothered with more than 1 ring!

I received a call from them yesterday. I asked them to call back later to see if they would, and they did. The girl on the other end was very passive, said she had a job for me, but couldn't answer any questions. I could hear a phone boiler room going on in the background. It definitely felt like a scam trying to happen.

I have not posted a resume online yet. I'm on assignment until the end of April. Not sure how they figured i would need a job soon but this call was unsolicited. Seems fishy. This is the number she left as a call back number but she was calling from 818-850-1247.
