have been looking for a new job.  Some guy calls me, heavy indian accent and says he's from Bankers a finance company, and directs me to bankers.com website.  Bankers is an insurance sales company and he won't admit to it and is weird and evasive, eventually when I confront him he hangs up on me.  So this would qualify as a scam.  I also suspect that this was a call using internet calling or something to generate a local number, regardless of actual location of the caller.

Same deal as irritated jobseeker. Two calls in two days; first time no message, second time leaves a message saying his name is Avid? Avin? (I can't tell) from Bankers and to call him if I'm still looking for job. No details on the job or the company--I couldn't even tell that he said Bankers (I thought he said Bedford) until I googled the number. Thank god for sites like these so I can look up who it is and not waste my time calling him back.

I received a phone call from this number on a Friday at 5pm.  I thought it was weird someone would call me from this number late on a weekend.  I didn't call.  It sounded scammy and not what I was looking for at all.
