Indian scammers, again!!!!!!  They use network hubs around the country, hiding where they are truly located (India).   The telecommunication industry goes along knowing it's all about the scam, but hey, at least they get their take too!

Just received a call from 818-666-7080, shows up as Sherman Oaks, CA on caller iD.  They are very persistent!

I too got a call from someone trying to get information from me regarding a legal matter and when I asked "What legal matter?" the caller didn't have an answer and said if I hadn't been contracted already that I should call this number and ask for "Chris Walker".  I left a message and don't know if I'll get a call back.

Same thing said important legal matter  concerned that I hadn't been notified yet that I needed to take care of it before it went any further. I told him (he also had a India accent ) that I would talk to my lawyer . Then called back a week later and asked if I had contacted my lawyer and told me to call Chris Walker at 818-666-7080 which is the same number they called me from. Also I'm in Oregon why would a number be calling me from the Sherman Oaks CA ?  I have read that they do this to get you to pay money to stop a "legal matter."

I also just received a call from someone with a Indian accent who said his name was David cooper and that he was from the department of legal affairs and if I don't contact them it would lead to a messy legal battle.  The call came from Sherman oaks, ca. I don't know anyone in Sherman oaks and think this is some kind of scam.
