This number has called me multiple times daily for the past several weeks, claiming to be the US Grant Department, and informing me that I have been approved for a grant. Well, guess what? I haven't applied for any grants, and I do not expect that the "US Grant Department" is as noisy as this voicemail is every time they leave one. I've blocked them, I've reported them twice now, and I just hope this isn't some stupid scam that someone is going to fall for.

This number keeps calling telling me I got approved for a grant. The phone is very noisy and constantly breaking up. I did actually apply for a grant so I talked to the man. He told me I was approved for a $8000 grant but needed my bank info! I told him no and he could send a check!  He then gve me a website that doesn't seem to work!

All incoming phone calls saying you are getting a grant are 100% scams.
The government NEVER calls anyone to solicit grants.
The ONLY way to get a grant from the government is to use their portal. http://www.grants.gov
If you have applied for and are approved for a grant, you NEVER have to pay ANY fee for the grant funds.

I asked the caller "How did I recieve a grant I never applied for"
He claimed it was a "study" done in my area.  I just would never buy $8000 dollars of free money I never applied for no strings attached, all I have to give up is my bank information??? No way!

called me and said they had several indictments against me for purchasing illegal drugs over the internet. When I didn't go along with him....actually I laughed at him....he said the cops would be by soon to arrest me...said his name was Jacob Brown.

Like Janice above, Ryan Gibson called from this number saying he was from the California Fraud Division and that a DEA warrant was out for me.  Said the address was 16350 Ventura Blvd 3D821, Encino, CA 91436.

Just got a call from this number today stating they were from the State Fraud Department and my son was prime suspect in some fraud case. Caller's name was Jack Taylor. Didn't give out any information since they wouldn't normally make a phone call like this. scam! Next time I'll ask what state they are referring to, lol.

My fiancée received a call from this number stating they were from the IRS-department of financial services stating he owed taxes from 1989,that the company who did his taxes over paid. They asked for 2,000 dollars and wanted debit card number. They would take a thousand up front. They also said if this payment was not made they local authorities would pick him up.
The man's name who called was Mike Shmitt.(yet he was a foreign person).  When my fiancée asked him what to verify his social security number , the man stated he could not give out that information. Definite Scam!

These people called me saying that i owed taxes from 2013. & that the IRS has filed criminal charges against me. He threatened to have an officer come arrest me if at anytime the call had gotten disconnected. SCAM! SCAM, SCAM!!!!
