Please do not proceed for loan with this guy.. He is asking for login credentials of my mobile banking and saying me that he will deposit some funds in my account which i need to refund in order to boost up my credit score.. One of my friend did this and fall in a big mess.. This type of scammers put a fake check in our account and take the fund and when the bank comes to know they hit chargeback and put our account in negative...

This guy called me stating that he sent me an email regarding a loan I applied for. Now I am not sure how he knows that I applied for the loan, but he stated that his company picked up the loan.  He asked me tons of information that I gave incorrectly because at the same time I was looking up this company information.  I could not find anything.  I was not able to find his email either.  I started to ask him some questions about the company and the rates and everything he started to rush through it stating they take care of everything.  Not to worry.  I asked him if he could verify the email he sent documentation to and let me look at it and I would call back.  He just kept asking questions.  After I told him that I wasn't going to give him my information without him providing me with some answers so that I could verify that he was with a bank then he hung up.

It’s some [***] using a fake name and this area code with the Triple 6 and different four digit numbers! It is a scam! [***] tried me

It’s some individual or plural using that area code with a Triple 6 with different Four digit numbers and putting out this fake loan scam! Real lenders don’t lend anything out that quick! That’s a tell tale right there!

He said I qualified for a 5000 $ loan and I have to get a Google play card to pay for activation code ..43 $ is all then I would get 5000 deposited in my account

Called and wanted me to call him back about money I owed the IRS. I was to call this number and ask for Mark Johnson in order to avoid prison time.

Called my workplace twice now in a matter of a few weeks.  I can attest, it is a scam.  Once he realized I wasn't falling for his trick, he hung up.  He never answers the phone when I call him back.  I get his voicemail stating "this Magic Jack customer is unavailable..."

Called me but since I’ve been looking for a loan I actually fell for it, now after reading this I’m now running around trying to protect my information, don’t fall for this!

i called because i got a text saying i was approved for a loan through quicken loans.he hadd all of my account information, said i was approved for a loan with no credit check. this is scary and i will never put my information in online again!

He called me saying I was approved for a $5000 loan through advanced America that his company picked up the loan he has all of my personal information that I did not even give to him... what do I do now?

I almost believed it all. He had called but I was busy and didn't answer. I got an email from Steve Davis about a loan from advance America. Craziness. Thank you all!

This is what happened to me as well! When I called back it was a Magic Jack answering service . Definitely a scam.

Called offering a loan, wanted my bank log on information,  scam!!

They tried it. Told me I was approved for a minimum $2000 maximum $10,000 loan. They find people who are in a bind and play on that. Plain evil. I almost fell for it until I read up and landed here. Thanks.

Received a letter saying a distant relative had died leaving a large estate.  He would work from inside a bank to verify that I submitted the right info to claim the money and then I would split it with him.  The number here is listed as his confidential fax.

Received same letter as others about inheritance at National Bank of Canada. Asking me to contact him so we can share money.
