They say they are from a loan company

Guy called me and told me I have been approved for a loanl All I have to do is go buy a Green dot card for $100 and call him back with the number and receipt then he will deposit $1500 in my bank account in 2 hours. Wth?????

I just got a call saying he would approve a 5000 loan.
They use a lot of different phon numbers.

This is a fraud scam.  They will wipe out your green dot money number if you give it to them.  don't do it.  I confronted the man who was calling stating 3 people have already reported him as fraud.

Same as above. After they said the loan was approved after the Green Dots were submitted, and they said everything was finalized -- I called them back after not receiving the deposit and now they screen my calls. I was very desperate and should have known better and read inbetween the lines. No one to blame but me but for anyone who gets these guys -- don't do it -- they'll wipe you're money clean.
