Sent me an email stating I was approved for a loan, when I called he states I needed to deposit money on that green dot card . I should of known it was a scam but

If you sent them money, it is gone AND expect them to try to get more $$ from you.  It is a scam!!  Pay NO MORE!

This is a scam. He says he is from Capital One and that you need to deposit money on a prepaid Visa card. We called him back and asked to speak to a supervisor and he disguised his voice. Don't let this man take your money.

Then, you need to call your bank NOW and have them close your account.

what about the green dot prepaid visa card? will they charge me even if I didn't use it? I think he already registed the visa card..

Any money that you have paid is gone.  The green dot card is still good, as long as you haven't given them the numbers.

Get those closed now! Advance fee loans are illegal period. File fraud.
