Got the call and answered knowing full well that it was a scam call.  No one was there.  When I had the time, I called the number back - here's where it gets interesting...
A woman answered "hello" and I said "you called me how can I help you?"
She launched in to what usually is a recorded message but this person was live!  She said her name was "Rachael" (REMEMBER RACHAEL - FROM THE CREDIT CARD SCAM?) and she was with some air duct cleaning company.  Said that they were out here 2 years ago and cleaned my ducts and it was time to clean them again.  Haw!
I told her hat she was a criminal and that she was breaking the law by calling me..."CLICK"
HAVE BLOCKED THEIR FUTURE CALLS.
Buy a call blocking phone or device - they're cheap and they work!

called again - blocked again - blocked for ever!

I got the same call from the same number, but a word of caution with calls like this if you call back the number on your caller ID.  

The latest scam hopes you will call back the number. The call-back number is like a "976" number that gets charged to your phone bill.

Might not be happening in this case but be aware its possible and check your phone bills. Per the article I just read they usually leave a small charge (below $10) that they hope you will overlook.

These jerks call 2-3 times a day for the past six months or so.  Of course, I don't answer, but it's still annoying!!

they called again and their call was blocked - AGAIN!

Our phones do not ring when they call so it's often hours before I even notice their call.

The called a few times before and I told them I was on do not call list and not to call me again. turned them in today. hope they at least get a warning

The person who called identified their company as "Air Care."  Said they were confirming an appointment for annual air duct inspection and cleaning.  Not only was no appointment made, I'd never heard of their company before and, for a company that was trying to pass their "service" as being annual, they seemed to have missed a dozen or so years of "annual" service.  I told them that I'd never heard of them, that no appointment was made and to not call me again.

Called again at 2:23pm.  Blocked!

I just see that they also called at 2:22pm.  Blocked Now & Blocked Forever!

Just checked this web address - it is non-working.

Folks - buy a call blocking phone or device.  Panasonic now makes phones that block 250 numbers...about $100.  Buy it at Costco or Amazon and SAVE YOUR SANITY!

Called @ 1:21pm - Blocked again.
I see that they also called at 1:20pm - Blocked again.

One would think that they would stop calling because they can't get through!

818-666-9696 - they call 4-5 times a week.  I never answer.  Today they actually left a message.  If they're trying to sell something, they need to get a clue, as the person leaving the message sounded like they were on drugs or something.  Very low, quiet voice - slurring words - maybe half asleep.  "Adam" - get a life!!

Went to the Website.  It said the account has been suspended.  They called again today but they are blocked.

They can get Osama Bin Laden, but not these Terrorists?

800notes is not affiliated with your callers, we are not calling you either. 800notes is a forum for reporting who calls you and any information you may have about the call to share with other forum users. It is highly doubtful that your callers are reading here also. Its also not wise to post your personal number here either since trolls and scammers do read here.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

i rick rolled them!!!! then reminded them i am on the Do Not Contact list.

haw haw haw take that! soon i'll be hooking up a device to record the calls, so you all can hear them groan and swear!
