caller ID said "Out of area" tho it's my same area code. I didn't pickup, they didn't leave message, so probably a telemarketer.

Missed the call; no message was left.

3:17 PM - disconnected the call on 2nd ring, then blocked.

[Just for the record, since I haven't seen anyone else mention it, in addition to political calls and solicitations by charities, the Do Not Call regulations also exempt any business withing 50 miles of your home (unless it is across a state line) from the restrictions.  So, these calls are annoying...but they're not illegal.  You'll have to rely on your own call blocking hardware or service to stop them.]

I have to clarify that the 50 mile exception refers only to California and applies only to businesses with 5 or fewer employees.  (Other states may have their own exemptions.)

Illegal spoofed call, and illegal spoofed call = SCAM.  Didn't answer (I NEVER answer calls from unfamiliar numbers).  Blocked this number.

Got a call from this number yesterday at 4:37 p.m. Ignored as always. These Unknown Name callers need to find something better to do.

Called again today at 10:51 a.m. and we didn't answer again. Too bad these morons don't know we that we know Unknown Name is a caller ID often used by scammers and telemarketers.

I picked up the call b/c we were recently evacuated in a fire and people with good reason were calling us.  i was fooled i picked up and said hello and i hear that boiler maker sound in the background.  i just said look dude we just went through a major fire and just got home, please leave us the hell alone right now.  no voice on the other end.  i was curious to know who the hell is so ruthless to call at a time like this.
