I got a call saying it was from Warner brothers who might have me .my number it's 562 310 5553

I received a call from this #. He said his name was Kevin from the Ellen DeGeneres show. You recently enter a contest right? I said yes. He said "well you are the winner of 2 tickets to ...... show." I was so excited, I didn't hear what show he said. I thought he mentioned two people in the show. Anyway, he said he had to confirm my info. He read off my email address and my home address. It was right so I felt it was legit. End of call.

Did you get to go to a show?  I missed a call from this # and I just wrote to her again to see if they will call me back!!

The article is old, but there's no reason a new scammer wouldn't repeat the same thing.

So I got a call based on something I submitted online. You're saying your call was legit to confirm your tickets?

Think about it.  People look things up because they want to know more.  Here we have someone who knows everything there is to know about this number, but yet "she" looked it up anyway and then posted here.  Who does that?  "Monica" is a company paid shill trying to make this con look legitimate.

It's legitimate. They also call to inform you if you won a prize from their daily giveaway from their web site. Different staff members seem call from this same number 818-954-1244. The number they leave for you to call back on your answering machine is different and will go directly to the person who called you. All the numbers start with 818-954-XXXX from Burbank. They'll tell you what prize you won, verify your email & address, then will email you a form to fill out & send back, then mail you your prize. I won an X-box a few years ago, won again recently and got my prize. If you're still skeptical, try calling at midnight when they're closed and listen to their answering machine.

recvd a call from this # saying we won a contest from WB, and that they would call back with travel info in 10 days to 2 weeks...that was july 21st. called # and the machine states the studio does not take messages, and to press 0 for operator (which is the VM box system). hoax?

This number is the outbound line for Warner Brothers and DC Comics. I received a legitimate call from this number from a contact at DC Comics. However, the callback number she left was an a different exchange: 818-977-XXXX.

Scammers! Called to say they had rented some paintings from me and needed some information. I own an oil painting business. I've never rented oil paintings to them.

I got a phone call from them saying it was the Ellen Show, stayed on the phone with them for 12 minutes and set up a Skype interview. Said she would send me the Skype invitation at 6:00, now it is 6:30 and still nothing!! ):

keeps calling our agency, saying nothing. has called about 30 times. sounds like these people are trying to tap our lines to get a hold of confidential information. scammers

Janeen was the name of the person and when I called it back after it left me a message saying she was from the Ellen Degeneres show and the number wasn't taking calls at the time and press 0 for the operator and it didn't even work ... I sent the ELLEN DEGENERES show a tweet with the number asking if it is real
