    Live caller seemed to be phishing for personal information.  They had my name and were asking me to verify my birthday but would not identify themselves other than a person's name.

    Call back gets live person. "Thank you for calling Portfolio Recovery Associates.  Whom do I have the pleasure of speaking with?"  Should have been "With whom do I have the pleasure of speaking" but we'll  let 'em slide on that one.  Portfolio Recovery is a debt collection agency.

    When you call back and get a company name it doesn't necessarily mean that is who called since the number could have easily been spoofed.
