Called my landline today, but did not leave a message.  CID said: Cancer Health

I did not pick up and caller didn't leave message, caller ID said "Health Council"

It's one of those pre-recorded calls that sounds like a real person.  She/it said something about breast cancer sending out a collection..... and I hung up.  Blocked.  They have called before using a different phone number that is really close to this one.  Nothing but a scam.

Caller ID states, "V80316385103580"... Thanks to all above for confirming what we thought, SCAMMERS!  Everyone in the family looks at the caller ID "before" answering!  If none of us recognize the number after one ring, we pick up, then immediately hang up!  This way, the caller doesn't know if they are calling a legit number, or they are calling one of their "own" (another scammer~!)... Don't answer if you don't know the caller!  Otherwise, you are on their radar, your information will be sold, and you will receive copious calls from other scammers!  We used to get 15 to 20 calls a day... Now most times around 3... Fed up with lack of oversight concerning this issue!  #Make all telemarketing calls illegal!

This number called and did not leave a message.  About a minute later this number also called 1-985-247-0320.  There is a thread about both numbers on this site.  It seems to be about cancer.

ID said Cancer Council.  I did not answer...and no message left.  There are dozens of scam messages from this area code, mostly pretending to be charities.

Caller ID said "unknown caller."  No message left.  Based on what I'm seeing above, calling SCAM on this #.  Thanks everyone!
