Caller offered to lower my credit card interest rate on either my VISA or Mastercard.  Since when are those rival companies represented together?  Caller was very beligerent about "verifying" personal information that he claimed to already have.  Caller was very beligerent about gaining this information.

These guys are bad... Caller called 9pm with a 000-000-0000 number claiming to be from "Rapid Debt Collection" representing MasterCard and Visa and offering to lower my interest rate to 6.9%. He claimed to have my credit information and boldly guessed I was $2000 in debt. He had several tactics to feign verification of the false information I supplied and then asked for my credit card number. Even after I called him out for being a crook and a weasel and cursing his very existence, he still stayed on the line threatening to cut my credit card accounts. He did not seem worried one bit. I live in BC, Canada. Watch out!

I as well got a call from these guys, and i'm from BC, Canada as well.
It was some ridiculously poor english speaking idiot.

I kept this goof on the phone for 20min, and was laughing my A*# off, because i did nothing but put him down and make fun of him.
He proceeded to make comments about how he wanted to do certain "gay" things to me, ( i won't get into details ).

I continued to make fun of him and ask him how much he got paid to sit in a Pakistani call center and randomly call people from all over the world.
He said that the company gets $1000 if he can get info for credit cards, and he would be paid $100.
At least the guy was honest that he is trying to scam people.....because i told him right away that i knew what he was up to.

After some more homosexual comments towards me, he changed his tone and said that he was going to "get me" if i didn't supply him with the information that he was calling about. I told him to come meet me, because if he actually had information about me, he would know where to come.
The scary part was.....he started telling me my address. But he didn't have my name.
So it is quite obvious that these guys are using services like "Canada411" to data-mine and compile info on people so that they will sound legit when they call you up looking for your credit card info.

I sure hope that nobody falls for these fools.
The last thing you would want is to know that some idiot in Pakistan/Nigeria is now racking up debt in your name.
