- Barbie4This just happened to me. they have been texting me for about a month now. they offered 20$ more than i asked for the dress. and i gave them my address and just recieved the money orders in the mail today. they sent 2 money orders for WAYYYY more than i asked for. and i called them and text them today before i went to the bank about it and said i would be recieving the money order today and to take out an extra 50$ for the delay of payment. and then mentioned they will contact me later about the seamstress information. i went to the bank and then to the post office asking them about it and the post office said they were fraud, and they would contact the postal services about it. an hour later i found this website and took it to the police department and they are looking farther into it. and they will contact me when they find more information... just curious did everyone who got money orders have a different address or are all of our addresses the same??

- Pook replies to JEFFI always search the phone numbers and this scammer most really want dresses because that's what I put on there too. Good luck everyone
- didnt get scammedWe posted a wedding dress on Craigslist and "she" offered to pay an extra $15. "She" was out of town and wanted to have her seamstress pick up the dress after we received the money order. When I asked what bank the money order was drawn off of she said "Bank of America" and assured me that she was "legit" and that I could "trust her". When I told her that this would have a "cash only transaction" and that she needed to make the money order payable to her seamstress, have her seamstress cash it, and then give me the cash....well... she STILL hasn't responded.
dear scammer, eat my a**, i hope you get scammed and taken for everything your worth and your children starve because you choose to feed your meth addiction rather than them. die slow b****
DO NOT GET SCAMMED BY THIS PERSON!!!!!- Call type: Text message
- Ralene| 2 repliesThis person contacted me about a wedding dress I have on Craigslist. Said they were on "pre-deployment training" and had to have her seamstress pick up the dress. Since I live near Lewis-McChord it was feesably true. Seemed a bit strange, though, when I asked about paypal for money transfer and was given excuses why that wouldn't work, so I only gave my work mailing address. *She* said today the money order (couldn't logically figure out how paypal wouldn't work for them, but a money order in the mail would) will be here tomorrow 8/15/12. The weird thing is that won't most people find out the money order is fraudulent before giving up their property? They haven't asked me to send the dress before cashing the money order. Wouldn't the bank just tell me it's not good and I would just not give up the dress? So how is this working for them?
I did a reverse search on the number which just said it's a landline, then put the number into my search engine and found this. I hope someone can end this person's scamming people out of their property. They probably own a dress shoppe in Texas and this is how they get their goods. Isn't this interstate fraud?- Call type: Text message
- notgiven replies to RaleneThey are not after dresses. They want you to put the money order in your bank account and pay the cash money to them before you find out it bounced. It is a fake money order and your bank will take the money back from you, plus an extra charge for depositing a bouncing money order.
- CountDeMoniesSorry for the late responce. I've been out of coverage range for some days.Is the gen. still available for sale? Can pick after... payment had been made? I'll issuse a certified check from my bank(chase) it would cash your bank before releasing the gem to my movers. Pls get back to me ASAP!! Tamara.W
- got me tooI am selling a dress on craigslist and they wanted me to give them my account info so they could send my bank a m.o. and the seamstress would pick up. I text back and said GAME OVER I KNOW ABOUT YOU
- Such idiots we areThey scammed us out of $2031.00 saying they wanted to buy our welder and we were dumb enough to deposit their fake cashiers check and withdraw off of it to send their supposed mover the money via western union!
