This company claims to be a “fraud unit” and threatens you with a civil suit and advises you to get a lawyer. It is a robocall and a FTC complaint has been filed.

This number called us at 6:45am and woke us up. The message was for someone not in our home. She said she was “Kelly Brockman with the Farud Enforcement Unit and that a criminal complaint has been filed in your state against you and your social security number.” She then instructed to call her at this number before the charges escalate. She had a Texan accent, and it didn’t sound like a recording..

Yea im in Seattle area to and they called me at 6am claiming the same

So they called me a couple times once waking me up at 630am. Then another time a few hours later...by the nature of their message threatening me with court in my jurisdiction. I attempted to resolve this. I returned the call to a "Kelly Brockman" except the voice mail says "Sarah Jones desk" heres were it gets fun. I called them back probably over 52 times, after repeatedly hanging up on me....odd for a place trying to investigate fraud...hanging up on their suspect..i had to call back from a few different numbers to get keep Kelly Brockman on the phone. Finally she tells me i wrote a check to some Colorado bank for $516 for a payday loan and that it was fraud and criminal. Well first off i havent written a check in several years. Second i haven't been to Colorado nor done a payday loan. After expressing my concern i told her im sure that would have popped up on my background check for my security clearance with the federal government. Kelly then hung up on me..for like the 12th time now. Then my number was blocked. I had return a call from a new number to resolve this. I told Kelly if she wants to play games, I have games and she can hang up and block my number but i got numbers for days and have no issue making her phone sing all day like did for me...because im "concerned about this" check fraud...lol

This number called me this morning three times (I was sleeping and don’t answer my phone if I don’t recognize the number). A Miss Broughtman (spelling maybe incorrect) a voicemail stating that I was named to have an affiliation with so and so to please call or have my lawyer call her back. I called my mom and she had gotten the EXACT same call!! She called the number back and told them that she doesn’t know this person or does this person live here So DO NOT call my number and hung up! So far they haven’t called that I know of. But my question is if you do happen to answer or call back and tell them to quit calling, but they continue, can you get them for harassment?

Just call them back 86 times like i did until they block your numbers and start hanging up on you.
