Back to back calls. Second came through even though number was blocked. Suspicion of spoofed number tech

Scam Clues (1) CID displays "unknown caller" 832-941-1863 (Houston a/c). (2) Man with accent asks to speak to the owner or office manager about a credit card rate reduction. (3) Tries to convince me his call is related to our existing merchant account yet gave generic answers to questions instead of providing verifiable information. (Says he's works for "US Card Solutions" who is working for "First Data") (4) Gave a different call back number (Phoenix a/c). I've been doing this a long time, so good luck trying to get any one of these things past me. At least I let someone try - this time - just because they happened to catch me on a slow day in a facetious mood. See ya!  ;-)

"First Data"
Said they were dropping charges on my credit card charges to customers. What got me was the nerve when they said, "Were coming to see you next Wednesday to explain this." So bogus as others have said, but so much gall to say they are coming to visit me as well without even having asked.

Janelle with the settlement department has called 4x, the last time I told her we have our merchant services with BofA and our rep will contact us if we need to do anything with our merchant services, I told her to take us off her call list and quit harrassing us.   She was still trying to convince me as I was hanging up the phone.
