Faked call that your credit card info has been compromised . They are gathering your personal INFORMATION.

This is was the initial text message I recieved: "FreeMsg First Community CU: Unusual activity on Visa Debit Card ending in 3855. $16.66 at MAID OF SHADE, WORRIGEE. If authorized reply YES, if not reply NO. Or call 833-213-1456. To opt out, reply STOP." I responded STOP and I received this text. "FreeMsg First Community CU: Your card has been blocked to prevent further unauthorized use. A fraud specialist will call you shortly. Please answer this important call. To opt out, reply STOP." Glad I looked up whether thurs is a real number because it's not connected to FCCU.

Said name was Lee with 1st Community Credit union calling to verify charges to my cc ending ing _ _ _ _.He has correct last 4  numbers.
I said I was scammed last year and wasn't falling for it again. He gave me phone number 800-456-3228 to call him back if I decided to trust him and give him verification information. I said how many strange charges he said without my personal info he can't tell me.  Last year when I fell for their scam I returned the call and it showed FCCU on caller id but wasn't them.
I said never mind we were on the way to the credit union for other business would take care of then.
caller id said 833-213-1456.

Text said my Aug. payment had been processed by Verizon Wireless.

Fraud with my debit card from 1st community credit Union houston. It was automated call with call back number and a case number.  Knew something was wrong when the didnt use the same name as on my account.
