Text from warranty call center. Most likely Verizon call center in north Georgia. Scam/spam.

Multiple calls, messages left to call 833-244-8095, Darren with car service center about my car warranty. No company name ever given. Thinking this is either a spam or telemarketer

This is one of the many car warranty scams. No legitimate company makes the company name so vague like “The vehicle service renewal division”.

Howdy, This is Michelle, with the vehicle service renewal division, will you please phone me back at 833-244-8095 regarding your 2012 Toyota car warranty
reply REMOVE to no longer receive

Never respond with remove, they have confirmed the number is legit even if they have the wrong person and you’ll keep getting these. Better to block.

I received a text from "Jake at the car warranty renewal team , will you please call me back at 833-244-8095 .

Howdy,  Richard, at the auto service renewal team, please call me back at (833)244-8095 with reference to your 2010 Acura service

Same BS most folks are reporting. I got the text "Hey, Paul, with the vehicle service renewal center, can you please phone me back @ 8332448095 with reference to your 2016 Toyota service REPLY CLOSE to optout."

I will NOT respond to these losers (unless I want to confirm they reached a working number and I wish more crap from them). So I will block the number.

Called me Rob, not Ray, from "the vehicle coverage plan division" (does not mention any company), about a car I used to own until early this year.

Interesting that had the year & model correct though.  They must buy lists somewhere and then since they are partially right, they do get some people to respond and scam them with warranties.

DMV's routinely sell that information unless you opt out.  Most people don't opt out because they don't know they have to.

vehicle. So I have to conclude that SiriusXM
may have sold this info as does other companies. I wish they gave me an opt out
option
