- PhilCalled this morning with an accent so thick that I could not understand what they were saying, no idea what or who they were asking/looking for.
- LeeI never say hello but just ask who is calling. This was a collection agency for someone I haven't seen in years nor do I want to. She said she would remove my number.

- Kedmi| 1 replyShe a “debt collector” tried to charge me 200+ for a “standing debt” on my T-mobile account but my bill says I owe nothing! She even knew my address!! this is creepy!!
- Caller: T-mobile
- Call type: Debt collector
- MikeHuntleton replies to KedmiIf you have a current subscription and are behind on payments, then it is not a "debt collector", but rather it is a "creditor" in which you generated a contract with for services. If you are current up to date on payments, then perhaps it is an imposter impersonating them and has nothing to do with T-Mobile, making it a scammer.
- SheliaCalls daily multiple times. I blocked them. It doesn't show that the number is calling until it is done and has the blocked number icon at the top of my phone. But right before that icon shows up it freezes up my phone while I suppose they are calling my number. I have to RESTART my phone every time. It won't send messages or anything during this time. I just now unblocked the number and called them back and told them to stop calling my number. I didn't recognize who the lady said she was calling from.
- KierianIt is "Alliance One", A debt collection service, in contact with multiple mobile service providers. Nothing else. Ignore the rest of the messages before mine; It used to be the number of a scam, although the scam collapsed and has been seized. It is now "Alliance One". God, our world becomes more and more alienated.
- Call type: Debt collector
- VeronicaThis number calls every day, sometimes multiple times a day. It shows up as Potential Spam so I don't answer. I finally answered one time and could tell it was a scam right off so I hung up. I block the number each time, but they still manage to call again from supposedly the same number the next day.
- Fuzzy| 4 repliesMultiple calls in one day. One woke me up on vacation early in the morning. I called back and told them they have the wrong #, to remove my number & not call again. He mumbled and backpeddled. I told him if they called again, I'd contact the FCC. Then I hung up and blocked it. It's a scam. I owe no # anywhere. My bills have auto pay. I've had the same # for years so it's not for someone else.
- Caller: fake collections
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- BigA replies to Fuzzy| 3 repliesYou threatened to report them to a Federal Agency that has absolutely no jurisdiction over debt collection calls or debt collectors? Why would you do that?
- BNumber calls daily. No one answers.
- Jerry GThis # calls every day in the morning approx. 8-8:20 am, and hangs up when the answer machine picks up
- Caller: Unknown
- Sandra GonzalezClaims that I owe when I clearly call tmo Ile a d said I owed nothing

- Tp| 1 replyRepeated calls during work hours. Asks for me by name, but I don’t confirm that is who they are speaking to. When I ask what they are calling for, the response is that it “is of a personal matter which they cannot disclose to anyone but [my name].” I asked them to take my number off of the calling list, that I don’t want marketers calling me. The lady said she would remove my number. I somehow doubt that will happen.
- Caller: Not named
- BigA replies to TpThis isn't a marketing call. This is a debt collection call.
- LeahThey called and read me my entire address street town everything

- christine replies to BigA| 1 replyThe FCC has no jurisdiction over Debt Collection issues, but they are the absolute final boss on matters of spam calls, abusive calls, and companies that violate the "no call register". When you tell a company to remove you from their call list, they are required to do it, UNLESS you are a current customer with business dealings with them.
- BigA replies to christine
No, they share responsibility with the FTC. Since this is a debt collection call then none of that matters so why did you bring it up? Just to argue? If so you should try knowing what you are going to argue about instead of making yourself look extremely foolish.Quote:but they are the absolute final boss on matters of spam calls, abusive calls, and companies that violate the "no call register".
You can tell a business that you currently have dealings with to stop calling you as well. Maybe trying using the internet to learn?Quote:When you tell a company to remove you from their call list, they are required to do it, UNLESS you are a current customer with business dealings with them. - AnnGetting a call several times a day from this number when I answer they hang up.
- Lifers replies to BigAWhy do all of your replies sound like you are the person making these phone calls?
You make comments asking how they knew it was a scam and they should give those important details while commenting yourself that people don't know what they're talking about, yet YOU give no details to substantiate your stating.
You just like telling people they're stupid.
