Hi. This is John zillman. I'm a funding manager here at our California branch and your file, just landed on my desk to finalize. If you're ready to move forward, feel free to return my call and just press 2 to connect with underwriting. You're still pre-approved for up to 45,000 with estimated, monthly payments around 610. Depending on the terms that fit your needs, this is an approval for a consolidation loan designed to, uh, simplify your finances by combining multiple high-interest debts into 1, manage monthly payment. When you're ready. Give me a ring at 833. 3843154, uh, I'll be in the office until 5:00 p.m. today. Uh, if you'd like to opt out, just call back and press 9 to be removed,

Same message as above.  11 calls in 2 weeks.  Caller ID said the call was from 518 936 8747.  Getting tired of these clowns.  Reported to Federal/Michigan do not call registries.

My message is similar. Caller says "you have been pre-approved for up to $100,000, etc.")  I tried everything the call suggested to get off their call list. Press the number 9, they said. They kept calling every day around 5 pm. I rang through to an "underwriter," told him to take me off their call list. He said he'd put that in their system and it would take about two weeks. They kept calling every day about 5 p.m. Finally I decided to just feed them fake information - tell them I'm excited about their loan offer, then feed them bogus names, salaries, occupations, addresses, zip codes, even totally fake, made-up social security numbers. I've done this five or six times now and kept agents on the line as long as 10 or 15 minutes. It's kind of fun to waste their time (payback). I think I'm wearing them down, but they're pretty dumb, imo, and repeatedly take the bait. I didn't get their robocall today, at least, so maybe it'll work?

    Stop the calls
I’m getting the same things. They call once or twice per day, each time from a different phone number and leave the same message. The calls go straight to voicemail because my phone recognizes them as spam, but they keep calling. Wish I knew how to get them to stop.

I called and told the guy to stop calling me and he said I had to hit 9. I said I hit 9 30 times now and you are still calling me every F-ing day! He said, f you I’ll make sure that we do call you every day and told me to go f myself. He kept cussing at me and calling me names until I asked what company he was with and he hung up. I’ve gotten at least 70 calls from them. After that call they took a week off and then went back to everyday. They call from a new number every day so it doesn’t matter if you block it or anything.

It's blatant harassment and extremely frustrating, I work nights and sleep days, and these calls kept waking up. It's hard for me to get back to sleep, and when I don't get enough sleep, working overnight gets even harder than usual. Why not just turn off my phone? Sure - except I have family that needs to be able to get ahold of me, sometimes with a real emergency, so I leave the phone on so I can get those calls. All I can say, in my case, is the "method" I used,as outlined above appears to have worked. Three days of no calling (finally) after previously getting one or two calls per day. I wish you luck getting these vicious, heartless criminals out of your life!

They’ve never given me a company name other than “loan assistance center” or “loan intake department” and I’ve repeatedly asked to be on their DNC but never worked.

Think I found the trick though - I called in asking to talk to “John Zillman” the funding manager and wouldn’t let up about speaking to ONLY John Zillman, wanting his direct line etc. and got hung up on twice. After that I went down the line of every number that’s called me and it kept disconnecting after the recording played until a rep picked up and told me I’ve been flagged for prank calling and they’re frustrated with me calling repeatedly asking for John Zillman… so they put me on their DNC to get me to stop calling them 😊

I hear ya!  Scammers don't care about the DNC list.  Just keep blocking the numbers and report each one as SPAM to your carrier.  That should keep them from ringing through but won't keep them from reaching your voicemail.  A lot of carriers are offering enhanced call blocking.  Mine did recently and so far I'm happy with it.  Of course there are call blocking apps, some free some carry one time or monthly fees.  The FTC has a very informative website with links for info on such apps and suggestions for eliminating or at least reducing, these calls.  If you've got a few minutes, it's worth a read.

Same exact message, I received 20+ call in a week from CA, NY, CT, NJ and always provide the same call back number and voicemail.  I have blocked multiple numbers already however it hasn’t slowed it down.

For the past 10 days, I have been getting calls from a John Zillman (Google search says that name is an Australian weather forecaster), on 10 different numbers with 4 different area codes from Pennsylvania and Florida (264, 484, 863, 833). Same message as stated above except none of those area codes listed is in California. Says they just got my loan file right now; on the 10 different voice mails in two different states? Sounds like an AI scam that will try to capture your voice in order to scam others in your family into thinking you were kidnapped in Mexico or something like that. Voice mail did not address me by name. Voice mail did not identify me by their company name. Why do I need to give approval for a load I did get from an unknown company? If the government sue Paramount for money so they can line their pockets, guess who's next? Yup, you and the elderly who drank the Kool-Aid in 2024. Keep your due diligence or just declare bankruptcy like DJT so they don't bother you for a while.

Same here. I’ve been blocking the numbers but they always call from a different number. Called the number and pressed “9” which supposedly lets you opt out, but doesn’t work, then got someone on the phone who just told me laughing that they don’t have access to remove the phone. I just hung up and silenced all calls from unknown callers as some other users have reported doing.
