The computer voice that came on initially asked if I would accept a call from Crozier Medical Center. I answered ‘yes’ and was put through to a call center operator who asked to speak to my son, who is a minor. When I told her she coul not speak to him, she seemed confused, then asked to speak to (my name), to which I responded she was. She then asked for me to ‘ confirm the patient’s birth date’ before we could proceed, but would not tell me who that might be or what the call is in reference to. As she called me, I did not supply any personal information. She declined to allow me to speak with a supervisor repeatedly, so I terminated the call. He name was provided as ‘Nika O.’ And she refused to give me her date of birth.
