- gnfoFinally got sick of this number calling me every business day for two weeks and not leaving a message. Called them back and they asked if I was some name I had never heard of before, and I've had my number for over 20 years. I suspect it's some sort of collection agency. They say they'll remove my number, we'll see...
- Caller: Said it but don't remember
- Call type: Debt collector
- Spikecalls daily .. not answering sent to voice mail , but message left
- Caller: did not answer
- ReisaHas called daily for a very long time. Told him I would take his number and if she knows who she is, she would call back. He immediately hung up. No clue who this person is, but probably a debt collector
- Caller: Not sure
- Call type: Debt collector
- Mcwhitman| 1 replyCalls twice anday every day at 4:11pm mountain standard time never leaves a message. Assuming a debt collector trying to get you to identify your identity

I could see where that would be a problem for you, if you have a large outstanding debt and are trying to avoid paying it.Mcwhitman wrote:... trying to get you to identify your identity
Since they are calling at the same time each day, you know when to be ready to actually answer the phone so you can find out who is calling and why (no more guessing). It may not even be a debt collector (survey takers can be very persistent and do not tend to leave messages), but if it is a legitimate debt collector you will have your chance to get their business name and address. Then you can send them a letter demanding that they stop calling (verbal requests do not work) and after a bit your phone will quit ringing at "4:11pm mountain standard time". Of course, if you do have that outstanding debt (that is currently keeping you from answering the phone), they will continue to communicate with you via the mail, or even (depending on the age of the debt) take you to court to collect it. - post pending moderator approval
