- Robert BrewerHad a call from this number a few minutes ago, and they ACTUALLY left a message. It was someone from some political organization, offering (temporary, I would presume) work opportunities for registering Texas (my state) voters. While they DID leave a message, like TOO many people, the person leaving it spoke so FAST, I could BARELY understand what details they were giving.

- JonHad a call about twc receiving benefits whilst looking for a job and they offered assistance(?). My guess is they are impersonating benefits in order to gain information

- Same hereCalled this number back & the guy said they’re a job matching service for TWC but they’re not directly affiliated with TWC...I’m guessing a subcontractor? Anyway he stated that they only get limited information on people from TWC & wanted to go over my information to make sure it was correct in the system. Soon as I told him I updated my info myself, he started asking questions about what type of benefits I received. Told him my info is fine as I updated it myself...he got off the phone. It’s suspicious, to say the least

- WillYeah this is 100 percent a scam. It was some young girl who was obviously reading off a poorly written script claiming she needed to check that i was properly registered on the TWC website because they reinstated work searches. I am exempt from work searches and i told her this and she says "I don't know. I'm just doing my job." lol they dont even try hard.

- LoganThese calls are only to remind you to login into your online account, due to a recent unemployment claim. They do not have any of your account information and can only walk you through how to register. Be aware there a number of identity thieves that are filing false unemployment claims. Due the pandemic TWC is flooded with claims and it is nearly impossible to reach a person. So if you are receiving this call and did not file you a possible victim. Call TWC's fraud hotline 1-800-252-3642 and open an investigation. Follow other ID theft protocol with credit reporting agencies, etc.
